  3. When was that not the case, in the UK or anywhere else? I have that fear too but Brexit isn't going to remove it. In fact getting rid of "inconvenient" EU rules like the Social Chapter is going to make it easier to sack people. The bosses here drool over the prospect of being able to fire someone whenever they want like you can in the US.

    I've had a quick look and can't find one with ads apart from FB and GMail. I don't use iTunes so I can't say what that does or doesn't do.

  6. Most of the UK aren't living in borderline poverty and quite a few of the elite such as media barons are very keen on Brexit. Trade isn't a hot button issue, it's all about immigration. The papers have been banging the drum about what a great evil it is for decades.

  14. What does that have to do with the nonexistent ban on guns I keep hearing about? Did paedophiles not exist before this nonexistent ban on guns. Were there no violent criminals before this nonexistent ban on guns? Do you think the solution to 12 year old girls in government institutions being targeted by perverts is to give these girls lethal weapons?

    The thing is, I live in the UK and it's a lot less violent now than it was when we had football hooligans rioting every Saturday and the IRA setting off bombs every week.

    Are we allowed to criticise both? There was no need to remove the 3.5mm jack. It doesn't improve the product in any way. "But but the other side..." doesn't excuse Apple's poor choice.

    Are there still security fixes for Jelly Bean, Lollipop and Marshmallow? I had a quick Google and couldn't find a reference. My Nexus 7 is on Marshmallow and hasn't had an update to the firmware in 2 years.
