No, I actually live in the UK and I've yet to see any beheadings. The caliphate doesn't seem to have stopped gays getting married or 24 hour selling of alcohol either. It's almost as if you have no fucking idea what you're talking about.
My console has never rebooted mid game due to Windows updates. My console has never been infected with malware. My console doesn't require the extra system load of anti virus. I'm not required to update my hardware every 18 months just to keep up with the latest games. My console doesn't need water cooling. My console fits nicely under my TV. Not everything is about e-peen.
Unlike you though I had a look at the differences and there isn't a huge amount missing from the community edition, not surprising given that it has so much free competition. Feel free to have a look and see if there's anything XCode can do that VS Community Edition can't.
I loaded up a very simple resume in Libre Office and it screwed up the formatting. It's almost as if there's more than one user of a particular software. I'm not defending Microsoft, far from it, but this idea that you can easily move to the competition is delusional.
Windows and Office are entrenched in the corporate world. In order for another OS to succeed it either has to be so good that it's worth spending a fortune migrating to arrive at exactly the same place you were at before or it has to be able to do all the things that Windows and Office can do.
In that case you can probably buy a second hand PS4 for much less than retail that won't expose you to whatever malware is baked into your dodgy version of Windows.
What systems and dev tools will be used instead to maintain and develop ASP.NET applications, SharePoint apps, Dynamics CRM extensions, Xamarin cross platform mobile apps or any of the Azure services?
How is it the manufacturer's fault for not writing perfect code? Writing perfect code is really hard and expensive. It's a game, not an investment bank.
What if you stick to real world examples where cheats are pricks who ruin the fun for everyone else and then blame the game company for not spending billions to stop them.
I bought a console because I don't want to have to throw more hardware at games.

Hi Pastor Mitch!
But you knew it sucked right?
Where do you get this shit from? Fox News?

Hipocracy - rule by horses. I for one welcome our equine overlords.
Why do you feel responsible for the behaviour of others?
It's still free
Ok Mr Tediously Pedantic but without a way of accessing the legacy COBOL applications things would've been significantly different.
If PCs hadn't had TN3270 applications to run the enterprise applications of the day they'd have stayed toys for a lot longer.

VS is also free.
You are of course every Mac user in history
All the Microsoft computers so far have been premium products. The OEMs can still make money selling to the lower end of the market.
Name a Win32/64 supporting drop in replacement for Windows. Name a drop in replacement for Office that supports VBA, plugins and templates.
Hmmm I have as it happens but it's got nothing to do with my point.
The cost isn't so bad, it's the length I'd like to cut.
