    You should explore that vast environment called 'the real world' sometime. Try telling your boss at Citibank that you need to rebuild custom kernels for all their Linux machines in the hopes that something will be .1% faster.     Agreed. IBM sucks. Their support guys are script readers who ask for increasingly obscure logs and system settings, when you can demonstrate on day 1 of the bug report that there's a simple application bug.
