Congress is by and large doing nothing simply because right wingers can't compromise, and they must get their way like spoiled little babies. I am most definitely moderate since I basically disagree and agree with about 40-50 percent of each side, and many are like me. I get called "liberal" all the time. Libertarian isn't even "moderate" considering political beliefs aren't one dimensional.
Why bother other people with your insecurities if they have no basis in reality? If you aren't being threatened, and you feel this way, go get counseling rather than impose arbitrary restrictions on other people.

I'm also married to a black woman that agrees with me who has probably lived a harder life than 90 percent of the people in this country. My father lived a harder life than her starving most of the time while his sisters got raped and given Hepatitis C by their sociopath uncle who murdered my grandfather and one other person. He worked his ass off to get where he is today, which is also poor now since the economy sucks. Psychological trauma and pain from what? Only a fucking nimrod gets "Hurt" over words from someone they don't even know. If I can ignore them, why can't they? If you can't handle it then go start your own utopian dream land and please stop bothering me. There is a major difference between something like PTSD from bombs exploding near you all the time, and getting "trauma" from a god damn poster. Give me a fucking break.
Because women are different than men? This is proven physiologically both in the brain and in the body. Women routinely get treated better in court cases, this is a proven fact. Well, tough shit. If Apple would actually make their products affordable I am sure more people would be using Macs, and more developers would release versions of their software that works in MacOS. A 10 percent market share is hardly worth the time if you develop in.NET.
Having working in support for a medium sized software company that only releases Windows software, I can tell you there are quite a few people that use Macs and want to use Windows as well.
I am not sure what went wrong. How many times do you get that in your help desk? I didn't look too much into it, because I simply get busy (I am serious, I work full time and go to school). I chose Firefox originally because, well, there weren't better alternatives that suited my needs. However, updating and getting strange loading problems sort of irked me. I suppose I should take a note of that, because I see the same complaints at work as a I.T. dude and discount them all the time as ridiculous:) . I really appreciate you trying to help me out, its a very nice thing to do since it seems that most people just want to make a point in a rude fashion. I get tired of rude people. It tends to make me an angry bastard even though I naturally am a non-confrontational and pleasant individual.

Furthermore, getting oil and coal out of the ground and refining it (or in the case of Coal the byproducts of burning it) aren't good for the environment anyway, so their reduction should help certain things regardless of human CO2 output affecting global warming.
Im pretty sure they have some data considering they can get ice cores, and I am sure they probably have before. This would show approximately how long its been there, and there would be evidence of warming events, etc. in the ice.
I think he's arguing that the ice shelves were there through previously known natural warmings. Its still unjustified to claim its absolutely caused by human related global warming, but whatever.
