I fail to see how this is justified whatsoever. Someone visiting his twitter account, youtube account or web page does not mean they had anything to do with anything in the scope of this case. Plenty of people checked him out after they read about him in the news or looked at his website for other reasons. He has a ton of stuff on his sight completely unrelated to PS3 Jailbreaking. This is the most blatantly freedom violating ruling I have heard of in recent history. This basically amounts to a blanket big-brother subpoena. This judge is an absolute moron and should be disbarred from all justice and legal practice for failing to understand one of the most simple amendments in the Constitution.

Man, the Macintosh computers they forced me to learn how to type on around 15-20 years ago were pieces of crap. They took forever to load and froze all the time. Its one reason I ended up using Windows. The only good thing was that I could play this Lurking Horror text adventure game on them while I was supposed to be doing typing exercises.
The problem is, a lot of notes require graphs or diagrams or math. I really want to have something that will read my math notation and store it as LaTeX. That would be fricking awesome.

Rampant consumerism is a bad, bad thing and ultimately the US will fail miserably and a lot of people will suffer. I may sound paranoid, but its not really that. We have a class of super rich with a sliver of middle class between them and the poor. A lot of us can't get jobs that keep us out of debt. For example, to get a good job you need a college degree, but the college degree carries with it 40,000 - 100,000 in debt. You only get paid about 45,000-50,000 with a degree so you already are at a disadvantage. We are bleeding our wealth out to China, and China won't play fair since they steal all of our ideas and sell it back to us as well as keep their currency artificially low for competitive advantage. Basically, be glad we think you live in trees (which actually isnt true).
Basically, the only thing the US has left to fuel its economy is intellectual property. By that I mean music, movies, research, designs. Manufacturing per capita has gone overseas, and the Chinese are willing to steal any new ideas or designs we produce and save them for a later inevitable date when we no longer get along with them. I firmly believe this is why the US is so adamant about IP law overseas, since if we don't have our IP we will fall as a nation.
Why does every foreigner and their dog come around and criticize something they know nothing about? The US doesn't care about money, the politicians do and they have postured themselves in a position such that the average joe has no ability to do anything about it. Its the same shit all over the world, even in your beloved Canada. Why do you think that wealthy rule the lower classes throughout all of history no matter what form of government exists?
Of course, just because he did something the US tried, convicted, and executed Japanese officials for doing isn't cause for accusing him of war crimes, right?

Few would argue the American revolution wasnt a moral case of breaking laws, or that the civil rights movement wasnt a moral case of breaking the laws. I can think of several laws off the top of my head that should be broken regularly if it suites a person. Marijuana use, prostitution, and buying alcohol on Sundays.
