Frankly, people that stupid don't deserve to procreate anyway. I don't advocate child abuse but it is absolutely ridiculously stupid to believe horse shit like "vaccines cause autism" if you have half a brain. Autism is a similar symptom of a myriad of diseases or genetic/developmental abnormalities. To think it has some cause effect relationship with dead bits of virii or proteins is asinine.
Doctors already do enough whereby they should not be trusted. In my own personal case, having a doctor tell my wife "they will pray for her" rather than try to solve her problem is enough to throw up a red flag for me. Or the fact that they advocate CT scans for things that can be diagnosed by x-ray or ultrasound, or the fact that they don't even bother to prescribe medicines to you you actually know will help you from previous experience. Doctors have a "I know this you don't" attitude that is draconian in light of, uhhh the INTERNET. Sorry for the rant, just wanted to point out that this dude is a dirt bag like many other doctors.
Sure thing. ATI is a horrible company, they just had some of the top performing hardware released earlier and for cheaper than Nvidia and better drivers recently than Nvidia. Nvidia had to struggle just to release Fermi, and even then at a price hike compared to ATI. You are letting one failure color all your future consideration of AMD/ATI in the portable market and that is just plain stupid especially in light of the fact that its based on a Microsoft problem (i.e. domination of the market with inferior crap software that manufacturers have to cater to since people are stupid and keep buying windows). I have had other not entirely similar problems with Intel on desktops, so should I just swear off Intel because they failed me once even though their i3's i5's and i7's are a generation ahead? I can make purchase decisions based on my income and price/performance which in my opinion AMD wins right now, however if I were to have a need and disposable income for an i7 Id be damn sure to buy one in spite of their failure for me in the past.
Sounds to me like this is the dumbest idea ever. Why not just make a massive industrial catalytic converter and charge industry the operation costs? Not that I think its necessary but the clothing idea is just dumb.
Uhhh. Instead of single malt maybe buy a decent bourbon. Scotch is a bit overpriced IMO but f%@#$ I do love Balvenie Portwood. You can get some good bourbons like Buffalo Trace for around 25-30 depending on where you go.
I don't know where you get your statistics, but AMD does win on price/performance in all but the highest end processors which most people either don't need or can't afford.
We'll see how that all turns out when the Fusion processors come out in laptops soon. I think they will probably take over the laptop market. The desktop market still is going to be Intel dominated unless AMD can push its bulldozer out quicker than they are expected to and sell it at a lower margin.
AMD doesn't make laptops or netbooks, they make processors. Go Intel if you want to pay twice as much for a moderate increase in performance. Go Nvidia if you want inferior hardware.
Fair enough, however most people including laymen understand that one is probably talking about bytes with MB,Mb,mB,mb considering bytes are the most common measure.
I wish they would charge less for the rest of us that actually only use our phones for email, weather, news updates (through apps) and occasional browsing.
Well prepared food can be considerably more healthy and taste just as good as fatty food, but McDonalds uses the fat to compensate and it ends up being cheaper and less time consuming to get it.
I wouldn't call the US a well functioning wealth creating economy. It creates wealth for a handful of people that already had a significant chunk and a few brilliant and lucky people like Zuckerberg.

You're a terrorist! Quick! Someone send him to Gitmo.
Unfortunately for him, looking like or actually being the good guy doesn't matter to the US civil court system.

I've noticed quite a few errors in this article. Example : "Such active galaxies are also known as quasars".
As far as I knew they already DID sell off the mobile business and it was partially Dirk Meyer's fault so they removed him.
Uhh. HP has quite a few laptops with AMD in it.
AMD needs a 'push' like the one it gave Intel at the P4 days
Such as Fusion? I predict a significant increase in AMD's share of laptop and ultraportables market in the near future.

Then type the whole word for the unit you want to use.

Mb is still valid. Just don't confuse MiB and MB.
Because less government really helped out back when Robber Barons and coal towns existed.

Sign me up. I love fish.

Well. Link? Then Im off to the Apple store.
If I could write equations on a tablet and it would transcribe it into LaTeX I would buy a tablet right now.
I know. It sucks. America is the land of the free (if you are rich and/or in government), home of the sheep.
