    Education has little to do with smartness. I've seen College graduates that were barely competent at their jobs, while High School dropouts are more than competent at the same jobs.

    I like it when the browser stores unimportant passwords for me. I don't care if someone steals my passwords for a forum or slashdot. For anything that involves money, the browser does not get to save that.

    Of course you should check your bank statements. Anything to do with electronic transactions can and will screw up. I've had a restaurant bill me twice, because the first time their terminal said not completed, but the money was taken out already. If it involves money, always check your statements.

    A helicopter parent is a parent who refuses to let the kids out of their sight. They are the ones who drive their children one block to school so the child molesters can't get them. They won't let their children play outside unless an adult is with them.

    .og doesn't exist. You might want to consult a list of TLDs before you ask a bunch of "what about" questions. Or install a robust browser and try to load the url instead of just wondering about it.

    Yes, I meant TLD's not webistes. I wasn't aware that .con wasn't a valid TLD (It should be valid for the scammers). And .og was meant to be a joke. I'm not an internet expert, just someone who surfs the web with Firefox and Noscript.

    While I can believe that .cm is a mistype for .com, what about .co, .con, .om? They don't seem to be high risk websites. I also bet that .con is a more common mistype than .cm I also wonder whether slashdot.og is infested with viruses.

    And rightly so. I don't want no one that has been convicted of "Hit and Run" or "DUI" driving my kids to school, thank you very much. Why give this scum a second chance at all?

    Everyone deserves a second chance. People change over their lives. If they make a mistake when they were 20, and then 30 years later, they are not allowed to participate in what they enjoy, you are punishing them unfairly. I'd admit that some people don't change. Reading about people with 17+ drunk driving convictions, and they still don't get jail time while drinking and driving boggles my mind.

    This is not even mentioning the fact the quests are nothing but "go X kill Y collect Z", where the only variation is whether the "kill" or "collect" steps are included. There is no other gameplay. There's nothing else to do. Crafting is a joke, PvP is pointless, and the writing is bland.

    This is no different than any other MMO.

    IMO there isn't a big difference between Ultima Online skill system and Everquest Leveling. Or between EVE Online and WoW. They all take time to get to the part where you can finally enjoy the game. They use a different system, but in the end they are the same; a time sink.

    They gonna come after me when I've got my car stereo cranked and the windows down?

    I know the people driving around me probably should, but is that really a "public performance?" A ringtone is no different than playing a stereo. It just goes off when you're not expecting it.

    I really would prefer it if you people could just turn your music down. I don't care if you want to destroy your eardrums listening to crap. I just don't want to hear music so loud it drowns out normal conversations from people on the street.

    Funny you mention bit torrent because purchasing the game doesn't give you the right to distribute that game to other people which is what BT does.
