I have lost 30 lbs and about 4 inches since December. This was on that Ideal Protein diet, but all that really is, is cutting calories.
Part of doing that is not going all nuts about it and occasionally treating yourself. Several restaurants in my area already include cal counts and those that don't can be found on various websites like this.
I've learned three things from all of this: Food can be very tasty with only a little bit of effort using herbs and other spices and still be dirt cheap on calories, vegetables are excellent vehicles for herbs and spices and are best roasted, and almost invariably, when a restaurant calls itself natural and organic, their food has a far higher caloric load than other places.
Anyway, I normally am against the Feds mandating shit, but this will help people who are even casually paying attention to what they are eating. When you are looking at two things you want to order and one says 2100 calories and the other says 890, then the choice is obvious those paying attention.
If you and , "they" are thinking of that stupid computer bitch that never understands what you say and won't send you a real person, then I'd say no fucking way it will happen.
When your engine quits, automation is a moot point. And that makes it even more imperative that you have someone who is trained and experienced behind the stick...not grandma...unless she has her ticket and a few hundred hours at least.
Which makes me wonder about all these designs that are being built in the form of drones...not even an aerodynamic body to at least try and fly to the ground. Pretty much a brick.
People keep shooting for complete automation when all that's needed really (in flight) is a system that will reliably get you off the ground, back on the ground and hold a course while staying in communication with ATC if necessary and avoid other aircraft and controlled airspace.
Make no mistake, a, "Flying car", is an aircraft first and car second. Putting someone with no flying experience in this kind of vehicle is a bad idea all the way around.
You can make it automated enough that learning it would be something like getting a different class driver's license, but expecting to get grandma one of these to take her to the picnic is a really bad idea.
So given a budget of some size, you could go down to the local electronics store, buy a bunch of resisters, ICs, OCB board, transformers, and the rest and assemble a 220v TIG welder?
You should start a business. Because Miller, Everlast, and others employ an entire staff to design and build these things.
A Welder has a basic set of controls. These affect how you use it.
How a welder actually takes 110 bolts, amplifies it, regulates power, wirefeed speed, etc. Is a completely separate domain populated by electrical engineers and folks who design, build, and manufacturer microcontrollers, etc.
Building huge, complicated structure involves a lot of fabrication. Not fabrication in the sense of creating a falsehood, but designing, cutting and assembling materials (usually steel) into the desired object.
What you seem to be arguing is that anyone who claims to understand how to build these objects need to understand how to builder a welder, a plasma cutter, a band saw, a grinder, etc. You don't. You need to understand how to employ them, but there is no need to know how they work or how to make one.
Software is much the same. There is no need to understand the origin and workings of the tools you use, rather, you need to understand HOW to use that tool. Some of the best Welders in the world (and welding is a very technical and highly skilled trade) have no idea how the devices they use work internally.
Since no one probably RTFA and it wasn't mentioned, what this means is robots that are sensitive to impacts outside their programmed maneuvers and can avoid stupid humans getting in the way.
So if a robot encounters resistance where it's not expected, it stops. It's the same kind of response that you see with the table saws these days that detect your finger touching the blade and stops it before you get cut.
I believe they also incorporate heat sensors and other sensors to detect people and can predict when the robot actions might impact them.
If they haven't already, EVERY FISA court proceeding should be video taped and have transcripts available. The we will know exactly what was presented, by whom, and with what kind of skepticism is was greeted.
if they are already doing this, then the hearing that authorized the Trump campaign surveillance needs to be made available to the appropriate committees.
It's complete bullshit that these kinds of proceedings are subject to he said they said. It is appalling that we can't see exactly what was shown in order to get the warrant.
When the full extent of how lax and accommodating they have been, to the point that a document bought and paid for by the Hillary campaign, with no corroborating evidence, is enough for the FISA judges to open an investigation into a Presidential candidate becomes known, the entire FISA apparatus will probably receive a very thorough anal exam.
So they are now crossing their T's and dotting their I's.
You literally cannot take away the President's authority to rescind policies like DACA without eliminating the executive branch or stripping it of its power, which would require a complete rewrite of the Constitution.
Ironically the counts are sometimes counter intuitive.
Steak and potatoes has long been vilified. But there you have it, right there.

Environmentalists really do want us living in mud huts
You know he did it with the complicity of upper management and even more likely, at their direction.
Something like that isn't something even a mid-level manager just does on their own.
Guys will be making extensive use of the new Clear History button.
The smell?
So did your parents sue the hospital where you were born because of the oxygen being cut off from your brain?
Which side supports free speech rights
The side that doesn't throw a riot when a speaker comes to campus?
Many of the best drivers in the world can't rebuild an engine.

That's not the same as being able to open up your welder and figure out why it's dead.
Knowing how to employ a welder is not the same as being able to create or repair a welder.
Yes.
But I can't build a welder. Neither can your welder friends unless they are also electrical engineers or have the knowledge of electrical engineers.
And yes, do they do buy another welder. Just like you buy a new hard drive if yours crashes.
Do you reforge a hammer if you break off a claw?
Technologies are advanced precisely because people can leverage the work of others.
Wrong.

Lake Michigan, according to satellite measurements and formulas, holds One Quadrillion gallons of water.

Funny how that fits either situation.
This. is, in fact, a usurpation of Presidential powers.
So they are going to do a Windows Update in Orbit??
You just made the AC's point.
