I've got my eyes open for the PSX2 this fall. When the dreamcast first came out I considered getting one. That was until Sony announced the playstation 2. I don't think the dreamcast will be able to compare with it.
Apparently the RIAA has filed to have Napster pull all major-label songs from Napster Um, napster doesn't actually have these major-label songs on it's servers. Therefore how can they 'pull' them?
Like what was said a few posts down; Just because someone 'may' have stolen the data, doesn't mean they will be able to make sense of it, or even get the materials to produce the bomb.
Who's to say that the hard drive had the blue prints for nuclear bombs on it anyway. It could be some testing data or something. You might as well not fret about it, because what're you going to be able to do about it anyways.
You would think that something that sensitive wouldn't "get lost/stolen" whatever the case may be. It was in their most classified division, and they couldn't afford a little physical security for it? What is the world coming to?
I can't wait for it. Id is, in my opinion, one of the best game companies out there. I can't wait to see what they will do with doom! Perhaps I will experience that complete awe as I did when the original doom was shown in all its glory on my computer screen.
Oh my god! You mean to tell me that because of some jerk off doing some little experiments in a lab, we could all be ripped a new one by a black hole? Oh my GOD! AHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh
What I see is our government lacking the power to stop illegal activity and hunt down offenders. In a desperate attempt to regain control they restrict access to the internet.
Will these guys ever learn? The more they try to bully around sites that 'the people' love and embrace, the more support they will lose. And its obvious that more and more people are turning away from MS everyday. I hope they get screwed in court in the antitrust case.

You are exactly the kind of person I would not like to see in any position of power in the world. No offense.
Good question. I wonder how many people are able to sneak in and just copy data they want? Interesting...
Everyone's jumping on the open source bandwagon. :) Perhaps the terrorist groups should open source their plans. :P

How does a firewall stop someone from taking the hard drive?

That was dumb.

You wrote too much. So I didn't read it.
