What would be the point of putting a person in the house? I'm pretty sure that was a joke. They can turn the TV on and let the lightning hit. Then if the tv's blown all over the place when they go back in, they will have learned something without endangering human life (always a plus).
Of course they could just stick monkeys or rabbits in there for testing purposes...
That's about enough patent BULLSHIT. I can't stand reading about all these new patents that make NO SENSE. How can you patent a human stem cell? Are you god? Didn't think so.
I'm not sure what the future holds in store for us all, but with crazy shit like this, I'm sure its going to get interesting.
Stop the insane ranting about Windows & Linux!@#$!$@$
We've heard it all before... from those who would take a bullet for Linus to those who lick Bill Gates' shoes clean for a living. The discussion is wore out. Everything that can be said, has been. Many times.
I'll bet the kids in school would have some fun with one of these babies. If you could customize the logos and whatnot on your shirt, you could put all kinds of funny stuff on there while the teacher has their back turned to you. Soon as you start getting too much attention and the teacher looks, you just switch it.
I wonder how long before they'd come up with rules stating you couldn't change the look of your shirt in school, or that you couldn't wear any nanoclothes that can be customized...
Perhaps your arguments would be taken to heart better if you were to _back your statements up with examples_?! It's easy to go around blabbing about something with no factual information isn't it? But that gets you nowhere.
Here I am again, after having spent the whole night re-installing windows. I made the ultimate mistake of installing lilo on my master boot record.
It's always fun to turn your computer on and see it say "LI" and stop responding. There's a lesson to be learned kids. Always use a boot disk.. unless of course all your floppies are 10 years old and don't work right anyhow.
I have had cable for a year now. I live in South Dakota. I've had no problems with the speed whatsoever. I get anywhere from 50 - 400 k/s usually in the 200's. It's fast as hell.
I've been seeing all these replies, stating that certain browsers can turn off popups from certain sites and whatnot, but these require you to enter an extensive list of domains into a file or whatever. How about a browser that has a simple button, that upon clicking, will automatically enter the domain for you, and close the window, thus disabling the pop-up from that domain.
There's the problem right there. The lawyers aren't in it for the good of the company, or even the laws. They are totally in it for the money.
A reasonable solution was offered, but because the lawyers are greedy bastards its probably going to become one of many other suits jamming taking up court time unnecessarily.
This reminds me of that series of books about a neighborhood boy that went around solving mysteries for a quarter. I don't recall the name of it, but it was a good read when I was younger. I also remember it had all the logic involved in his revelations in the back of the book to show you how easily little details can slip your mind.
I think it's just sad that the world would come to this...
How come an employer can discriminate against someone who may potentially become ill in the future due to a gene, but they cannot discriminate against someone who is a different color or race due to a gene?
A gene is a gene, and discrimination is just plain wrong.
Perhaps they had problems with the server, and are down for the time being... Is it really necessary to jump to the conclusion that the government took it down, or someone hacked it? Crashes do happen...

They were bragging about how many developers they had for their system, and now they're trying to monopolize their own game system. Crazy.

Please for the love of God, stop the insanity.

Wow, I like your sig.
I think it might have gotten more media attention...
Amen brotha!

If you've gotten on a 56k before, how do you know if your cable speeds never compared to it?

No, the article stated that there had already been 100,000 copies sold...
I believe this would be much more user-friendly.
How could Adobe not know it was going on. That's rather hard to believe. I'm sure they've been getting hate mail up the arse on this one.

But will it ever come to the U.S.?

No more will you have to cross your eyes until they hurt to see something look truly 3D! Amazing!
