    I was laid off in September from a local software company and after my severerance pay ran out, plus a two week period, I was collecting employment insurance. I've been collecting it ever since. I even started to work at a factory making Honda parts because the computer market for 6 year old skills is non-existant. Anyone looking for a Delphi programmer? ;P

    Yes, I can change providers, if I want to switch to DSL from cable. I clocked my "traffic" rate last week and got 1395.89Kbps and I don't think that I can get speeds like that with DSL.

    Multimedia. And no, not p0rn. Quicktime trailers (in the largest size only), Ifilm movies and the like. I figured that since they advertised that there is unlimited bandwidth that I wouldn't have a problem. Apparently, I was wrong.

    Tell that to my ISP who just sent me a notice telling me that I use 2000% (no, not a typo) more bandwidth that the average user and that if I didn't stop they'd cut off my service.

    A completely galvanizing, international effort to begin to explore and colonize Mars.

    There is a group called The Mars Society which is doing just that. Current work includes running a simulation of what life would be like on Mars in the Canadian Arctic called The Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station.

    One group that wants to colonize Mars is the Mars Society

    The Mars Society is currently working on the Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station in the Canadian Arctic to simulate what going to Mars would be like.

    I don't think I could justify purchasing a product with so many loop holes in it. And at $500+ a pop I'd rather have a whole new computer with linux on it. At least I know it doesn't have such an extensive amount of possible security breaches in it.

    Those DoS guys are still hoggin' all the bandwidth. I've been tryin' to get to Tom's for 30min.
