They're all fucking potty mouths. You apparently have never heard 5th graders talk to each other when they think there's no adults around. And if you're so offended by $#*!, you can use the V-chip in your TV, or call your cable company and ask them to block the offending channel from you lineup. Then you can be sure your little Timmy won;t ever hear a swear word, except at school, in public, in movies, from his friends, from his teachers and most likely from yourself.
I agree, really, I think someones trying to be funny. But seriously, I saw this coming, knew it was going to happen, and told people it was going to happen. I just didn't expect it would happen within the first week.
The HLDI compared collisions of 100 insured vehicles per year in New York, Washington D.C., Connecticut, and California -- all states with currently enacted roadway text bans. Despite those laws, monthly fluctuations in crash rates didn't change after bans were enacted
if your comparing COLLISIONS of 100 insured vehicles per year wouldn't the crash rate be 100%? I'm assuming they mean numbers of collisions per 100 vehicles. Even so don't you think 100 is to small a sample size when there's tens of millions of vehicles in those areas? I really don't think 100 vehicles is enough to prove anything at all.
The 'snitches get stitches' mentality is the reason that violent crimes in neighborhoods that have rampant gang violence are frequently never solved, and because these crimes aren't solved the murders and rapists in these neighborhoods stay there and commit more crime, now everyone knows that nobody in that neighborhood is going to call the police so more murderers, drug dealers and thieves choose to do they're dirty deeds in that neighborhood.
Real life isn't CSI or Law and Order, cases don't always get solved, The cops can't take some grainy slow scan surveillance footage from the 7-11 and digitally enhance it to read a license plate from a car 3 blocks away in reality it would be a miracle for them to to even discern the model of car. Thanks to these shows the ignorant masses think the police can solve any crime if they want to and assume if a crime isn't solved its because the police don't care about them/they're neighborhood/etc. Case and Point: I've seen a local news story about a 2 week old murder where they interviewed a woman from the neighborhood she said "I don't know why the police is taking so long to solve this, hell I know who murdered him." reporter: "Have you talked to the police yet ma'am?" woman: "No, they don't care about us If they wanted to solve it they already would have."
I'm a fat guy planning to buy a.38 Special when I get my next paycheck and a Concealed Carry Permit. In Pennsylvania you can't be denied a Concealed carry permit unless you fail a background check or one of your character witnesses gives the Sheriff a reason to believe your a violent person.
... to all the people who have education problems in other countries? I think we should: all afghani girls who for years could not go to school (did we give asylum to all that requested?), all the africans who cannot go to school because of social problems (did we give asylum to all that requested?), etc.
So you think adding millions to a broken, overtaxed welfare system is a good idea? Who do you think would pay to fly them over? Who do you think would pay to clothe, shelter and feed them? Who do you think would pay to build the hundreds of new schools needed? Who do you think would pay to educate them? Considering Welfare and Social Security programs are already the majority of the US annual budget it sure as hell cant be the US, we don't have the money to expand that program so massively. And more importantly why should we give any money to help the people of other countries? It isn't the job of the US government to fix everyone Else's problems, we can't even fix our own educational system. I would be willing to bet you don't think we should be in Iraq or Afghanistan 'policing the world' so why should we going to Africa and fixing all of the problems there?
Clearly shows how racist and politically biased the courts are: a group of (likely) right wing white people always get precedence over some poor 3rd world, brown-skinned, poor fellow...
Why don't you look at some recent civil rights cases. I guarantee you will find that almost every time a white man with 10 years experience is promoted over a black man with 5 years experience the courts will find that the black mans civil rights were violated. But Affirmative Action, a system that does nothing but guarantee minorities will get into a job or college over a white person only because they are a minority not only is legal but considered socially responsible. I assure you if a college implemented a system where white students would be given extra points for being white and minorities wouldn't the courts would come down on them like the wrath of god.
PS: I can assure you by throwing around the word racism so irresponsibly you are only serving to increase the racial divide in the US. Things like Affirmative Action, Hate Crimes Legislation and Frequent Civil Rights Litigation only serve to create an us vs. them mentality.
If you really think the Iraq War is the most despicable moment in American history you must have never taken a High School history class. I mean we have the Japanese American internment during WWII, The Trail of Tears, and certain actions during the Civil Rights movement just to name a few. And its not just America that's committed atrocities, The Holocaust, The genocide in Rwanda, recent actions by Israel, Palestine and Lebanon, and the fact that British citizens barely even have basic human rights left anymore. Its just human nature to kill and oppress each other, and we never seem to learn from our mistakes there either.
Nice propaganda there. Using a 3 year old chart to try and show Republicans as the biggest spenders when in the 1st 3 months of the Obama's administration, which is Democratic, the national debt has increased by around 2 trillion USD. That's more than Bush spent on 6 years in Iraq in less than 3 months.
Think of the Children!

In Detroit they would have stopped for you... then robbed you, THEN shot you.

When I saw this story: *laughing for 5 mins* *gasping for air* *laughing for another 2 minutes* wooooooooooooooooooooooooo! ha ha ha
