  1. All the browsers did and still do this. If all browsers strictly used the WWW standards all our website would still look like geocities pages ca 1995.

    In my experience edge is much faster with HTML rendering of a large table but the js is slower

    Sign. As much of an atheist anti-religious person that I am I have to say one thing about the church: It gives society some kind of anchor. Morally and, in the case of the catholic church in Latin America, it acts as a social safety net.

    I can't shake the feeling that the secularisation of society has left a large hole somewhere.

    Java applets in a browser is a load of shite, Java the language is so-so and Java the VM is pretty brilliant. Remember, basically everything in Android runs on Java.

    I would be more worried about the fact that the team also has one gorilla, a werewolf, something that looks like a walking dildo, a female hentai character that seems to be getting some action from behind off-screen, a kitten, a cat and a penguin.

    On the other hand, Yehuda Katz is there. He is a very major Ruby on Rails contributor. As a dedicated RoR fan that worries me because if he jumped ship RoR lost a very valuable contributor.

    I had a boss like that 15 years ago. Every time he went on a trip the whole office had a breakfast to celebrate.
    He left after a while

    Last year (at a new job) his new company successfully sued him for 1.2 Million Euros and won. In Germany this is unprecedented, so he must have been total utter cockup at his job. Pity the new company is now the new bankrupt company. And he already found a new job as a senior manager.

    I work as a software developer on industrial systems where there are a lot of mechanical engineers (I do the touch screen controls and such stuff).

    Sure, the manager is technical but he is a mechanical engineer. Really nice guy. But the end result is just as much chaos.
