  4. LSD is a stimulant and at microcode levels the effect would be comparable to a few cups of coffee. IOW you would be more alert and your driving prowess in times where quick responses were needed, it would provide a measurable benefit, not an impediment as you seem to be assuming.

LSD is a helluca drug!

You just broadcasted your cluelessness. Not only is LSD not addictive, it is self limiting. Tolerance increases extrremely rapidly. To get the same effects tomorrow as you experienced when you take 50 uGrams today you will need 500 the next day. While some have access to enough that they can trip repeatedly, nobody actually wants their high to last in permanence. IOW an LSD trip is a great place to visit, but you would *never* want to live there.

  8. LOL ... *defacto* standard. EMACS users enjoy the accidental "straight man" post.

  9. vim is the editor that almost *all* "VI" users use and is beyond a shadow of a doubt the defect standard. I can't imagine what you are trying to say about it being "weirdly different", however vim is the baseline.

  10. That is beside the point. In fact it's The opposite of the point. The user was suggesting that switching from emacs to vim implies giving up your mouse.

  11. First of all you mean vim, not VI. Secondly, there is gvim.

In this case, because they have servers there they are doing business in the UK, however if they moved those servers to the US then you would have the situation you described in your last paragraph. You might not be sure about how that would work but I am, and as I have been saying throughout this thread, there is nothing they can do since they have no jurisdiction.

When creating your false narrative you should try to choose something at least conceivable. Nobody else, Republican or Democrat would ever suggest such a ridiculous and obviously ego catering idea. Indeed, if "Obama" did this the only question anyone would be asking is "where did Trump get the Obama suit?"

Nothing will draw more attention because the whole thing is ludicrous. Facebook is in the USA. Unless they open up brick and mortar stores there they don't "do business" in Russia. Their business is in the USA and foregneirs "travel" here. If Russians fly to Florida to go to Disneyworld they are doing business in the USA and if they connect through their ISPs to Facebook's servers in the USA they are, likewise, doing business in the USA.

A tangential benefit is we find out who else, like you, has no idea how technology works and, likewise, should be lurking and learning, not posting.

In almost every case the threat is a thief, a family member, an unscrupulous or "prankster" co-worker, or someone else who lacks the time, access to your person, and / or skill set to break bion biometric based protections. Couple that with the fact that it is far more easy and quick to use your finger to afford "one touch" authorization and you'd have to be ignorant and / or a fool to think it isn't a highly effective tool that maps well to the security landscape.
