    That is exactly my point. C++ has constructors, destructors, safe pointers like unique_ptr. The problem isn't that a language *lets* you shoot yourself in the foot. The problem is that most of the people shooting shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the gun.

    First of all POLP is not new, and saying that no IS has anything close just shows what an idiot you are given that you say you have been. Involved in computing for a long time. Second your solution, even if it made a modicum of sense, is fundamentally no different (try to be secure and watch the system like a hawk) than what it is now. Your little "data diode" thing is probably the most stupid thing I've ever read on Slashdot (literally). Might I suggest you persue opportunities in the janitorial services?

  23. There is an "improve accuracy" setting which Android specifically asks if it can use, and if you say yes still notifies you that you can disable it in settings at any time. These retards either know this or are woefully incompetent to write this article and suggest it is some hidden / covert conspiracy.

    Since January 2017 we have come to expect much, much less of various officials. The one we try to lower our expectations far enough for is not someone we elected though. Even though the U.S. citizens did not elect him he is currently the President and continues to prove that no matter how low we think he can go, he can go lower. When it comes to failing to be qualified for the position, and proving he is the world's biggest loser, he truly is the best!
