    Google used to allow a Custom CSS, to render visited links in a different color, for instance. They don't anymore...

  7. The visited links will likely be darker, "blacker", but not black! It's been an issue in Google search for a long time, visited and non-visited links having the same color ("#1a0dab"). Why does Google keep the same color for both links is a mistery, though.

  17. She was hired to be the CEO. And CEOs severance packages, in big companies, are usually within that range. This is the job to have in the industry, where incompetence is not seen as a failure, but rather a "failed try". Not so many jobs carry that amount of "tolerance", but yet there are some: football/base ball/tennis/.... player who doesn't perform as expected (and yet is (pre) paid a lot), an expensive actor/actress who plays badly, ...

    "change attitudes about diet and personal health" how you do that? New laws would apply to companies selling crap, not people. People wouldn't easily change their habits: a big and cheap meal that gives satisfaction.

    McDonalds and other fast food. Ban those and the obesity will drop fast

    To change that, you need to change laws. But, while there are tons of laws to keep people from being physically hurt, it seems difficult to institute strict laws related to eating and drinking (and selling food/drinks).

    Then what? China will not accept any intervention in NK, especially from the US. So, everyone is waiting for an NK mistake as an excuse to intervene: for instance, either a working or non working NK missile that causes damage somewhere in a country nearby. But Russia would not like much (either) a reunited US-South and North Korea. Russia said "we'll invade NK if they keep provoking..." ; so they're also waiting for the mistake, to be there, first...
