Funny. We're not talking about global warming related issues (they're related... but that's not the point in Paris now). It's been proved that pollution will decrease a lot if nobody uses a car in Paris and suburbs. Since it's not practically possible (yet), Paris mayor, Ms Hidalgo, requested half of her gents not to drive on a given day. That makes sense, no?
Hmmm ok, I almost never use Windows - so you're certainly more knowledgeable in that regard. But come on, Apple cannot support a MS OS for ages either... you have to put a deadline on that!
Who cares? People who spent too much for a shitty unupgradeable computer will have to deal with a different shitty overpriced OS.
This is an obvious rant/flamebait/troll. And I take the bait, because I'm tired of people saying you can get the same thing for cheaper. That's NOT the same thing. Macbooks are known to be performant, reliable and even nice. Upgrade? You can ask the Apple Genius to upgrade your macbook, or many 3rd parties can perform that as well. All in all, you may get some cheaper stuff from another maker - but you only get what you pay for.
Microsoft introduced many changes in 8 compared to 7 - and Apple assumes new Macbook users will want a newer version of Windows anyway. 2009 is when Windows 7 was released. That's 6 years ago - get over it.
A few years ago I worked at a barn facing a meadow and I got the feeling that it wasn't good for my eyes that they never focussed on anything fewer than a metre away, so I put a wall and I think this has helped my eyes.
Tag Heuer brings the idiots willing to pay ridiculous money for a watch.
For some people "ridiculous money" is just pocket money. Those are the Tag Heuer clients. Why pay for cheaper while that "ridiculous money" for a TH doesn't make any difference in a daily budget.
The real issue is if they store those credentials. Providing credentials to the custom for an inspection is somewhat legal. Storing the passenger info + credentials is a NO.
...I won't ask WTF is that "pirate" party and what are its specificities since it's on/. first page. And why that's not in TFS. but reading wikipedia as usual gives the party's stance. Mainly
The party has not officially taken a position in favour of or against Iceland's accession to the European Union. The party has however concluded the following in a party policy on the European Union:[3]
Iceland must never become a member of the European Union unless the membership agreement is put to a referendum after having been presented to the nation in an impartial manner.
Should Iceland join the European Union, the country shall be a single constituency in elections to the European Parliament.
Should Iceland join the European Union, Icelandic shall be one of its official languages.
If negotiations on the accession of Iceland to the European Union halt, or membership is rejected by either party, a review of the agreement on the European Economic Area must be sought, to better ensure Iceland's self-determination. It is unacceptable that Iceland need to take up large part of European legislation through a business agreement without getting representatives or audience.
and the one you were not expecting Edward Snowden: On 4 July 2013 a bill was introduced in parliament that would, if passed, immediately grant Edward Snowden Icelandic citizenship
1. Print out some 40kph speed signs 2. Post on a freeway 3. Drivers do the conversion 4. Americans adopt the metric system (at last)
They did business with the Nazis in WWII, why not the Chinese.
Are you comparing the Nazis and the Chinese?
"desktop" applications are going to have over-sized text now?
MS devs get older, you insensitive clod.
I'm guessing that French politicians have odd numbered plates . . .
They have odd or even numbered plates. That only depends on their current needs.
Let start with band-aid. Use bigger guns (only) if necessary - later.

Interesting post - but what kind of time machine did you use to post it from 1653?

not sure for the first half, but (data >> 0.5) & 0.5 gets the 2nd half

Indeed, we all keep him in our hearts.

So what's the alternative. I mean, not the alternative to godaddy, they're many, but how to prove yourself in case you forgot the password?
