I force-quit some apps that are simply bugged, and reopening is a workaround. Even that Weather app (Apple), needs sometimes to be closed and reopened (or it doesn't refresh the weather / location)
...when you have a good show, people want to see it.
Well, GoT gets slightly "walking deaded": the previous season (6) showed what happens when the show and the books take (slightly) different paths, sensationalism takes over the depth and subtlety found in the books, at times (season 6). Not awful - yet. But let's hope season 7 will not ressemble a Marvel recipe.
Looks like new weapons arise to face Russian and North Korean threats. Actually, probably not really "new" weapons - they were kept hidden in case of a real conflict. The new president in charge decided to exhibit them.
Before facial recognition: - the guy reminds me a pic from the station, not sure that's him though, let's check first
After facial recognition: - the camera says that's him and he's dangerous, shoot!
My iPhone is 3 years old and still works great. This is not the point anyway. the point is "Glitches that could have been fixed easily thanks to a bit more testing". And since Jobs was replaced, these annoying glitches are much more frequent. Apple trend is "new features" but it seems the new management lacks authority to prevent the simplest software regressions.
Now slashdot removes undesired characters (basically anything above 0x7f) thanks to a simple regex. Would be more difficult if the whole Unicode scope is available.
On Netflix (streaming), almost each time we want to watch something specific it's not there . So we settle for something else. It's like going to a pizza, but they don't use cheese. Netflix series are good? A few are. Most of them rely on conventional recipes, and after a few episodes, boring ahead. The bad in this is that Netflix teaches people how to view something they don't really want to watch. Like going to a bakery where you don't like much the bread, but that's the only bakery around, so you buy that bread and get used to it. Do you really want that? What will that become within 5 years? I'd favor streaming where you get exactly what you want to watch, even if the price is per show.

Glitches that could have been fixed easily thanks to a bit more testing. The iPhone has more and more of these.

If you're into planetary-scale goatses, perhaps you'd like to check out the north pole of Saturn some time.
You may even go up to Uranus (or down, depending...)
