    Apple gives 80% to the app dev. So the dev will get 80% x forex. He'll get less, and anyway the app store prices are always approximate (ie they don't follow the forex rates - there's some adjustment from time to time)

    Bullshit. Apple store UK is for British people. And British people didn't get a salary raise due to Brexit, and local prices are certainly not linked to USD GBP forex. Apple store items are sold in GBP and no importing cost is involved. This is just another lame excuse to make more profit (or at least keep the same profit).

    Caffeine is drunk almost everywhere in the world, and is part of a lot of (often conflicting) studies. But what about studying the effects of chicory for instance, or fresh lemon juice, or almond milk...? Maybe we could find something else that has the benefits of the coffee without the downside?

    The reason being the growing number of people having access to a computer (China, India for instance).

Given the number of pictures harvested by Google over the years, and provided that many people send the same boring pics (Eiffel t., China w., s. of Liberty...), in gmail for instance Google has just to put the index of the same stock picture they already have (say 8 bytes) and that's it. For a 8 MB pic, that's a 99.9999% compression rate.

    The music quality may not be that good, but at least 30 years later you can still listen to what was on the tape. The CD? Doesn't survive over such a long period of time.
