  1. This makes me so angry I want to... on Gaming Companies Being Sued Over Columbine · · Score: 1

This makes me so angry I want to go on a school shooting spree. Then we can sue that person for 'pushing me over the edge' or something and collect damages. Then we give back the money to the gaming companies and all are happy.

  3. Deep Blue wasn't that fast. on A PlayStation In Deep Blue, Or Vice Versa? · · Score: 1

Deep blue had only, I believe, 34 or so processors. The reason it was so fast and good at chess was because it had 480 'chess accelerators', specially designed hardware to compute chess moves. They act in the same was that a Geforce 2 accelerates graphics, I would like to see my Ultra try and play chess, ha. In my opinion it is not fair to compare this to Deep Blue because they are designed differently.

I am taking a MCSE class in high school (It is called networking, which is what I wanted to do, but instead it is about Windows 2000 which angered me). One lady came in because she needed help at her office. My friend and I said we would do it and it was sounding like she would let us. Then one of the older students shouted out, "Are you sure you want freshmen helping you?" She kind of shook her head and asked if anyone else would want to do it. It pissed the hell out of me. I know more then 3/4 the class (who just come in and surf the web), yet when I was going to put my skills to use they went with someone older. That is my story,

400 ms isn't that bad. Before I got cable (I am too far out for DSL, even though I am surrounded by a city) I had pings of between 450 and 500 on games. If I lived out in a rural area I wouldn't mind 400ms if it was internet access, 400 is better than nothing. Also, the speeds aren't that bad. If you had to you could get used to 400ms ping (for rural people).

When I first heard about the Cue Cat I went out and got one that very day. Just to try it out. The next day my dad recieved one in the mail from Forbes. A few days later my mom gets another from Radio Shack and we now have one for each computer that has a PS/2 port.

Since I read the article on /. about the reverse engineering of the Cue Cat I didn't bother registering and installing the software. Luckily I didn't because as you know the Digital Convergence DB was cracked.

My uncle also got one and as a test scanned in one of his sons Britney Spears CDs. Hopefully he won't be getting spam from Radio Shack about other Britney things.

As soon I heard about the unique bar code number I decided not to uninstall the software. Personally I think it was an interesting idea but not carried out the best way possible. I don't mind having a Cue Cat, but the only regret I have is having to put up with the guy at the store.

The part you guys would like, though, is that it runs LINUX!!! Not only that but you can take it out and use it as an MP3 server because it has an ethernet port (also comes with USB). You can also move it between cars and take it to parties. This is what I want when I get my drivers license. I don't know, but there seams like something nice about being able to go for nearly a month without listening to the same song. Just a suggestion,
