Whenever I am maxing out my cheapo WiFi router, sometimes I can hear a very slight humming from the router
Similarly, if its very quiet, under certain conditions I can hear slight noises from my laptop (not the Fan or HDD, seems to come from the CPU), and sometimes from CRT TV's
I'm not sure if its practically possible, but if it is then, without the knowledge of these people, temporarily shut down the telescopes and blast the town with WiFi frequencies for a few days.
You'll find out if there's any truth in their statements
yup.. a very large percentage of the people living Below Poverty Line spend money on stuff like mobile phone wallpapers, ring tones and call back tones.
Most of those having more money just dont change the defaults, or download the free stuff
Specially with something like one of those plug computers..
I dont know how they work, but if possible, plug computer+128GB SSD -> expensive but should resolve all heat issues replace the SSD with a 1TB laptop HDD if ventilation is available
Should be small enough to hide behind a switch plate
Most of the issues are really unresolvable.. esp. with us being a "representative democracy"
Add to that the fact that internet penetration is terrible and terribly expensive, those with internet connections can do whatever they want.. noone cares
I'm not too sure how CA's work, but if till this point we know, say "Thawte" is uncompromised. Then, secure Thawte, issue new certificates using a different name, say "Thawte2"
Change this name every year or so, securing the previous certificates.
This way, in case of a compromise, only a max. of 1 year of certs are invalidated
My Desktop PC is NOT a smartphone with a 22 inch screen
Please dont treat it like one

Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows 2000
Windows NT
Windows Me
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7
other than XP->Vista , all gaps were less than 3 yrs AFAIK
(order of 2000,NT,ME may be wrong)
Isnt that Apple's business model anyway?
Why do you need a text messaging plan to receive texts?
SMS based verification?
You mean like this?

nope.. India
Delhi/NCR doesnt have any such ISP's
Only Airtel and BSNL/MTNL
And 25GB is quite a low cap.
Since Android has the "used by Geeks only" image, while the iPhone has the "just works, a shiny smartphone for the masses" image.
Its obvious

Can lead to mandatory software required for internet access, with logging of all communication
Fortunately my country has much bigger problems to deal with than people downloading movies
Is it that difficult to hide a netbook connected to a USB HDD under a fake panel in your cupborad or something?
Set up password protected access, download on that netbook and stream to watch
Is this confirmed news, or is this likely to turn out to be a false alarm?
Whats up with company sales?
Nokia effectively sold to MS
Motorola sold to Google
HP -> on the market
Yahpp -> on the market
Your E71 probably also has a HUGE battery compared to the 5800
I dont remember the exact capacitiy, but the E71 battery has almost double the volume of the 5800 batery IIRC
same usage pattern as in
about 2 hours of calls, 30 - 40 mins of gaming, an hour of web browsing, few photos, 50 or so SMS,etc..
why wouldnt the germs still get killed by the UV?

when a lot of the extra power is going to just display animations in menus, for me atleast thats a waste of battery power.
s60 had minimal animation in menus, etc. Android has quite a bit more
That could be a contibuting factor to battery life as well
My 1.5 year old N79 lasts more than 3 days
A friends new Xperia mini pro lasts about 18 hours with the same usage pattern
similar patterns b/w Nokia s60 and android phones most of the time
