    Whenever I am maxing out my cheapo WiFi router, sometimes I can hear a very slight humming from the router

    Similarly, if its very quiet, under certain conditions I can hear slight noises from my laptop (not the Fan or HDD, seems to come from the CPU), and sometimes from CRT TV's

    I wonder if their issue is something like this

    I'm not sure if its practically possible, but if it is then, without the knowledge of these people, temporarily shut down the telescopes and blast the town with WiFi frequencies for a few days.

    You'll find out if there's any truth in their statements

    other than XP->Vista , all gaps were less than 3 yrs AFAIK
    (order of 2000,NT,ME may be wrong)

    Delhi/NCR doesnt have any such ISP's

    Only Airtel and BSNL/MTNL

    And 25GB is quite a low cap.

    yup.. a very large percentage of the people living Below Poverty Line spend money on stuff like mobile phone wallpapers, ring tones and call back tones.

    Most of those having more money just dont change the defaults, or download the free stuff

    Specially with something like one of those plug computers..

    I dont know how they work, but if possible, plug computer+128GB SSD -> expensive but should resolve all heat issues
    replace the SSD with a 1TB laptop HDD if ventilation is available

    Should be small enough to hide behind a switch plate

    Most of the issues are really unresolvable.. esp. with us being a "representative democracy"

    Add to that the fact that internet penetration is terrible and terribly expensive, those with internet connections can do whatever they want.. noone cares

    Is it that difficult to hide a netbook connected to a USB HDD under a fake panel in your cupborad or something?

    Set up password protected access, download on that netbook and stream to watch

    Your E71 probably also has a HUGE battery compared to the 5800

    I dont remember the exact capacitiy, but the E71 battery has almost double the volume of the 5800 batery IIRC

    same usage pattern as in
    about 2 hours of calls, 30 - 40 mins of gaming, an hour of web browsing, few photos, 50 or so SMS,etc..

    I'm not too sure how CA's work, but if till this point we know, say "Thawte" is uncompromised.
    Then, secure Thawte, issue new certificates using a different name, say "Thawte2"

    Change this name every year or so, securing the previous certificates.

    This way, in case of a compromise, only a max. of 1 year of certs are invalidated

    when a lot of the extra power is going to just display animations in menus, for me atleast thats a waste of battery power.

    s60 had minimal animation in menus,etc. Android has quite a bit more
    That could be a contibuting factor to battery life as well

    My 1.5 year old N79 lasts more than 3 days

    A friends new Xperia mini pro lasts about 18 hours with the same usage pattern

    similar patterns b/w Nokia s60 and android phones most of the time
