When your ISP DNS randomly redirects you to a webpage advertising their products, or typing www.google.com in the address bar leads to an ISP page with ad's and a small link to www.google.com , 8.8.8.8 does save you a lot of hassle
On the video it says "Actually the one that we looked at on display was only 16GB but the technology behind that particular 16GB stick is capable of scaling to 2 Terabytes." In other words they'll have to wait years for smaller manufacturing processes to occur before a 2 TB drive is made.
I cannot watch the video to verify it.. but if true, then the news is as good as spam
Teracopy crashing is better than explorer crashing while copying your files
Also, when moving since it does the deletes only after ALL the files are copied successfully, in case of a crash, just delete the destination and redo the operation.. you dont end up with half the files in source and half in destination
Maximum I had ever done was moving about 700GB between 4 drives on ( 3 USB, 1 internal) The queuing and skipping of uncopyable files let me go and have dinner while it was going on
"The JavaScript garbage collector works more frequently to free up memory and improve performance when you have many tabs open or keep Firefox running for a long time."
Shouldnt the leaks be fixed, rather than having a garbage collector cleaning them up?
Isnt it like putting a bigger engine on a car with square wheels instead of making the wheels round?
Atleast in India, though Mobile tech is somewhat behind US tech, all we pay for sending a SMS is either Rs 50/month for 500msgs/day , or Rs 6 per month, with unlimited messages @ Rs 0.01/msg
Rs 45 is approx $1
How come rates arent cheaper there (considering that a higher no. of people would be using the phones anyways)
To get into java you need a good understanding of OOP concepts and alteast basics of exception handling
You can dive into C/C++ knowing maybe just the absolute basics of OOP, and learn as you progress
Similarly, C++ gives you the opportunity to learn about memory management, overflows, errors you can encounter when not careful with types. Java handles all that for you
For learning purposes, I find C++ to be a very good language.
Its confusing enough that most people not up to it will leave once you cover the basics of pointers, yet not so difficult or complicated that it would take too long to learn.
For instance, Java takes forever to understand as compared to C++, and no playing around with pointers either
Even in that case, the damage would be limited to a single system, probably covered by warranty.( Like Dell's completecover -- I guess something like that would be there for enterprises)
What he did was much more damaging -- Deleting all the company's servers is well, damaging
How is this different from an application of video conferencing?
ohk..
Since you hadnt mentioned applying labels to them, or using the "move to inbox" function, I guessed you hadnt tried those
Create a filter to apply a label to all in:chats
then export using IMAP
Even in India, most of the official communication is in English.
You wont find many good Indian programmers very comfortable with written Hindi
Even spoken Hindi is more of a mixture of Hindi+Indian English
Just FYI, Blackberry still hasnt been blocked or the encryption removed in India..
Pakistan doing this may prompt India to ban encryption of all kinds though -- they have already been trying to do so

there will be a special "professional" edition for people like you, and others who want to work with their computer.
Ofc.. since it will be "professional" it will cost 2-3x the normal editions
Perhaps they should just buy teracopy
Out of curiosity, how many independant operators do you have in most areas?
Depending on the area, India has between 5-10 operators in a circle(1-2 CDMA, rest GSM) .. Is the competition there less or more?

Isnt Portal the best example of such a method?
Even in that case, the damage would be limited to a single system, probably covered by warranty.( Like Dell's completecover -- I guess something like that would be there for enterprises)

Wouldnt it just fry the NIC it is plugged into, or the motherboard at max?
AFAIK the c2d series and the i3/5/7 xxx series came w/o multiplier locks
I dont really know anything before that
From one of the above comments, it seems to be a BIOS flag or something similar
Except that you probably cannot overclock them yourself as it wont be a K series processor
With them making Sandy Bridge non overclockable unless you pay extra, this was very likely to happen
Its more of the original chip is underclocked than the software overclocking it
