Now count the hours spend, add the costs of this being a project done by people are/have learned the ropes along the way of this project. Replace those factors with the hourly cost of a team of engineers and don't forget to call a insurance company for liability issues if your are offering this as a commercial service and all of a sudden we come to realize that education, labour and insurance cost more than the components your satellite + spaceship were made out of. This part wasn't exactly rocket science.
That is not war. That is an incident. A war stays a bit longer. Takes out your schools and hospitals all over the country. Takes out your energy... No 9-11 was a terrible and tragic attack by some idiots. But nothing more than that.
Befehl ist Befehl! You know the problem with the US? They haven't had a war on their own soil for too long. It's about time they get one. It will teach them that war is a bit less 'fun' when it's your kids that are being shot at from an apache. BTW: not following orders (or: befehl is befehl) was the nr. 1 argument that SS-soldiers had to say for themselves on the Nuremberg-trials.
Ignore this comment, I was being an incredible stupid prick that only dares to insult someone when using AC. I am very sorry for this but since my mom is going to take away my keyboard till I am 18, I won''t be bothering you anymore. Again I am very sorry for being such an utter prick that is to fucking scared to use my real account.
Not sure, you work for apple? Come on man, a laptop in this price range should not have this issues. And you know it. Everyone knows it.
And that's a shame, I hope they fix it because these kind of issues just can't be happening with a triple A brand at this price.
Lol, lots of AC"s all of a sudden here to state that the macbook is the best you can get. And that is a pretty strange statement coming from the IT-crowd... Damage controle @apple I assume...
No that is NOT what I am saying. Can agree with the rest of what you are saying, but let's make it clear: i hate productplacement, especially when it is so obvious. And the first name that comes to mind is Apple, by far the greatest bitch in this add-driven-world. And by far the most irritating. Always the camera has to be placed so the logo is in the middle of the screen. Sometimes we even do bets when watching particular shows... when the apple logo will appear. And it always comes. Never the bet is if: it is always when;)
Let me get this straight. It's my fault if someone kills me in my home. I should have cared better about security?
It's not the consumers fault for believing when they buy a pc with legal software they have everything they need. When I buy a new car, I'm not going to take it to a garage to check the brakes, you just assume it works. Not everybody knows a thing or 2 about software/hardware.
No matter how you turn it. It's still the baddies fault.
Because it comes pre-installed. And a lot of people want/need something that works out of the box. They don't know about add-ons. They don't care about security, they just want to surf the web.
Ho ho... it's not apple hatred. If you like them, be sure to buy em. It's apple-in-every-damn-show-hatred I am displaying here. And yes, that is insightful. If I say so myself.
Hehe, Netherlands calling here. I am free to download them as they are works of art, belonging to the public. At least copies of them. I would never dare to ask for the master though. But the copies are mine. For sure. (Not so sure for how long any more though with that ACTA being shoved to our throats).
Nobody in Hollywood is going to give you free commercial time in their big productions. And especially not in 30% of all movies! Hell, nobody in Hollywood will give you anything free for that matter. These adds costs millions. And they cost millions because they know who the audience of a certain movie/show will be. A great way to get your product to the people that would buy it.
I can agree with a lot of that, but that last sentence not. Especially in the case of Apple where every director has to have to logo more than 5 seconds but less than 10 on the screen. They actually alter the scene for that. So the logo is very obvious to spot. That's the irritating part. I don't care about a stack of ipads that are on top of eachother. It's the damn logo that has to be zoomed in on and preferable multiple times a show.
More than valid point. I can't deny being an utter idiot myself. If only there was a movie or show without product placement. Coke, apple, T-Mobile.... even the shows themselves are commercials these days. But you are right, I have a choice to not watch.
Really. Take your stuff for the lesser-brain-evolved people from my screen. If I want to watch a commercial for an overpriced product that will make sure I'm in a vendorlock I go to youtube and watch that commercial. Funny enough, I never had the wish to do so. So take your shitty commercials for your shitty products out of my great movies. *wow that feels good, I guess it was bothering me.*
Because we all know the US has nothing to do with the idiotic impresement of assange. Nor did they call out on tv to kill him.... lol.
I can give you some water buddy, but I can't make you drink.

They both don't have a lack of fanboys that's for sure. Bunch of bitches. Wanna know where they both fail? At the desktop. Why do they fail? Becaus I can't get MS office with support on them and because the sims won't run native on linux nor bsd. And that is the reason why they fail. Both; *this is being typed at a debian desktop*
If you build your city - or state - on top of 2 or more very big colliding earthplates. You will get quakes. If history has shown you that there will be earthquakes there... well... don't build there! Sjezus Christ. What good is a warning system that may or may not buy you minutes going to do extra for you when you just know you should not be living there on that scale in the first place. Want a solution that is actually the only good one just might not the one you'd like to hear: GTFO!
Back in the days (must be at least 10 years ago by now) I used the dragon engine from philips to control my pc. To be honest, it had a cool factor but got old soon. Not only was it quite inaccurate at the time, but I found it to be slow in comparison with just mouseclicks. Besides, at night when the family sleeps I don't want to be making to much sounds.

Yeah, that is true, I could have made that more clear. My bad.

Hey, at least you used your own account. Respect for the disrespect in this way. I hope you feel better now. (You still got ripped off though.)

That is a very interesting point of view. But, being Dutch it is legal for me to download movies. Still, very interesting.
I'm not rich, but I sure as hell would be even poorer had I not made the choice to ignore all products with the I-got-ripped in front the name.
