So a company is going to enforce the ridiculous US-laws... Well here in the Netherlands, it is rightfully legal to download sound, including music. So I suggest that Mastercard, gtfo here. Btw, are they still accepting donations to the KKK?
So the -fill in your local- government-bitches can't see what I do with it, since it's not their business. Yes, I understand fully why they want a traceable chip in money.
So, one invents a screen whoms sole purpose is to present picture. And then someone finds a way to get a patent to present a picture on a screen... hahahahaha
First they give 3 million people access to this information and then they complain at a guy that has nothing to do with it. Given the way the US threats people I am sure that the poor soldier who has been in isolation for months has gotten 'an offer he can't refuse' to sign a fake testimony against Assange. The weirdest part about this all is that half the population seems to believe the threat of terrorism is coming from some Muslims living in the desert. Totally blind for the real terrorism we face everyday, put in place by the so called government. Don't believe? Start a blog, become a journalist or try to get on an airplane without having some dick take a look at your dick, or even worse, your 5-y/o dick. Terrorism from Muslims can be a threat, however, the only terrorism I actually witness everyday is from white guys in suits.
Hmmmz only problem that comes to mind is proftpd, but the dev patched that I think. Just the distro's not. Can you name some more? Cause I believe the devs normally (95%+) fix a security problem asap.
Don't agree with you being nodded troll, but also don't agree with what you say. There is a very good mailing-list, called full-disclosure. The devs have no choice. The bugs and exploits will be on that list. All of them.
And you base that on? Looked at the US? The NSA and CIA have lots of good techs. Being a good tech and having good money doesn't mean you have good ethics.
Well, the article might be biased. With 20 million people on the internet, the 2nd most in the whole middle eastern, there are bound to be some really good techs there.
Ahhh... would that be the reason we got that fed-story about how openbsd ssh has a backdoor. With all the stuff in wikileaks and happening to Assange, this would actually be a perfectly good time to get paranoid.
As long as you should the fuck up.
Just the other day I needed to call 911 and I couldn't!
About 2 things. They don't see the difference between action and reaction. That, and I'm worried, who the hell is that Dr. A. Hitler?

Yeah I'm sure they have chat-logs. Found those probably next to the WMD's in Iraq.

That big auction company is the owner of paypal.

That I can explain with emaille - french-, that in Dutch and I believe in German also is written as email.
Not a single problem in all the years I use multimedia.org to be honest. I use them for the codecs mostly though.
You got me there.
nano /etc/apt/sources.list , add: contrib non-free after "main" on each line. Then: apt-get update
First thing I on a fresh system (and I install a lot of fresh systems due to testing that goes horribly wrong :)
Just put this in your sources.list and your fine.
deb http://mirrors.nl.kernel.org/debian/ squeeze main contrib non-free
deb-src http://mirrors.nl.kernel.org/debian/ squeeze main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://deb.opera.com/opera-beta/ squeeze non-free
deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org/ squeeze main non-free
After that I down the catalyst drivers from ati.
And only then I start using the system. With all my closed-source goodies :D I love it!
I can understand that, but orthodox Muslims might prefer those laws. It's all a matter of personal believes and preferences.

Now, when they get that second server, will we be able to at least get 255 chars in a tweet?
You are forgiven my son. Just stay clear from ssh on openbsd for now. Cause I'm not sure Theo will forgive you too :P
You haven't read that mail if you are saying that. Just read the damn mail! http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-tech&m=129236621626462&w=2
It was not Theo that made that claim. It was Theo that released the email he got from the guy making that claim! Big big difference!
