" Further, money is also spent by the ministry on Trojan viruses known as IMSI catchers which are used for "man-in-the-middle" attacks on mobile phones used by German police."
So they have implemented a software mobile tower? Don't think so.
They are using them on phones used by the German police? Don't think so.
Last time I checked, an IMSI catcher was hardware.
No last thing I want is to get my thoughts spelled out on a screen when my secretary is bending over to reach for my pen/calculator/notebook/mobile, that I accidentally dropped. In front of her. For the 5th time. That hour.
I mean, Ted had one, Breivik had one, and they also killed a lot of good things. Anyway, I for one, welcome our new KDE-overlord manifesto.
I'm gonna put this one in my blackbox.
Let's face it, the pc is very efficient in some things. Like text processing, image editing, programming, all tasks that depend heavily on user input are preferable done on a pc or laptop. A device that has decent input options. Typewriters replaced handwriting and the pc replaced those, the pc will be viable until someone comes up with a clever way to do those input tasks in a matter that is just as reliable as a keyboard/mouse but faster. That someone will become really rich btw.
Till that day, I'm keeping my pc.
Let me get one thing straight. I do not like Ribbon... I really really hate Ribbon. Before Ribbon on my windows system I would use MS Office and on my linux system Open (libre) Office, These days I run Libre on both and make damn sure that anything I program, does not contain ribbons. Too many damn clicks to get to what you want. That's not what automation is about.
If only that was the case. However, if it comes to something like math, well yes, that also belongs to me. Just like language and air. The good news is, I am in Europe. Software-patents don't exist here, for precisely that reason. It's math:-)
Well the pharma's have no reason to cure cancer or aids. It would cost them heaps in medicine that just prolong the patients life and already are incredible expensive (not to make, but to buy). Curing these people is like cutting yourself off from a really good source of income.
North American Marlin Brandon Look-Alikes to take such a risk be being hosted on the same servers as wikileaks. (I mean, I assume this isn't the other NAMBLA else I would like someone to explain to me why these servers weren't raided years ago.)
Actually C# is a great platform for RAD. Just because it's MS doesn't mean it is always shitty or evil. It isn't on the 5th place of most used languages because it sucks.... Lots of pro's are using it and many a serious C++ picks C# for fast prototyping and development. It's all about knowing what tool to use for what task.

Slackware, you came on a more floppies than wing commander 2 did. And those where a lot of single sided floppies... I liked you, didn't understand much of you but I was young. You thought me well. Then I got a job working for SuSE and so I switched. During me work I discovered that apt-get was a little better than yast. So I switched to Debian. I went on to other employers, sometimes forcing me to use Windows. I still love Debian and use it, but I am typing this on Windows. Because I played a game before checking slashdot. Slackware, you thought me. You got me fired up for linux. And despite being a Debian-man now, I still think about you every so often. I hope you will see version 20. But please, on less floppies.

What billions?
Google it yourself sjeeee.
Yeah yeah, btw, lovely purple picture you have there, is that an acid-filter?
And you're free to do so :)

And that, my friend, is why you don't see me submitting stories here.
Of course it has to have a oled display. That way you can program tetris on it and tell the wife the kettle is the computer that you build yourself.

Absolutely but since it still is math, it should be available to all and everyone.

Programming is math, algorithms, nothing more. It's idiotic that you can patent an idea or algorithm. What's next, patenting + and - ? Or maybe Pi?
Very informative... at the very least mention this is FSF's viewpoint on the issue. Also, it's ok to write more than 3 sentences. Thank you.

Suddenly python pops up? Lol. I bet you can't code for shit.
Those 10 seconds delays aren't electronics lag.

Doesn't mean shit outside the USA. Thank God.
