I've heard of using algae (maybe not algae, they called it "pond scum") to break down water in to oxygen and hydrogen for hydrogen cells. It seemed like interesting research that could possibly lead to cleaner cars in the near future.
Wheeee, this is great information for a college kid, thanks:D (will be used responsibly for killing braincells, no other uses endorsed except maybe as fuel in airplanes.)
IIRC Alcohol is a by product of some form of metabolic process where simple sugars are turned into alcohol (glycol?) how is this achieved, with the alcohol being pure enough to power a plane, I imagine distillation would be required. Anyways it's time for bed or else class will suck...
Away from the chip makers and on to the mother boards manufacturers. If my cpu can only go to 7ghz, that's fine, but I want 24 of the damn things dirving my Counter strike
Speaking as a 12th grader who is slightly technically inclined, I personally would like to see my school (which uses this proposed method) allow ports 21 and 23 out going. My reason for this is as follows. I have a report due for english and I forgot my printed copy at home, I telnet (or ssh) to my home PC, samba on over to the windows box where my file is saved, copy it to me home directory, ftp it to the school, print it out and ta-da no more late papers. I find it to be very annoying that because a few of my classmates like to download stupid things to the school computers, that I cannot do what I feel is necessary to complete my studies. Oh well... That's life, if not classmates soon it will be coworkers.
How long until windows is seen as an "Alternative" operating system if linux keeps gaining market share on the desktop...
In Soviet Berlin, Linux uses you!
A very high 2.4ghz frequency? Reminds me of that thinkgeek shirt 2+2=5 for extremely large values of 2.
the Reimann Hypothesis proves YOU!

Most areas can use the cell service provider to triangulate your position if they need to. It ain't just in movies.
