As an ex-mathematician, I can say there's a lot more to having a successful mathematics career than simply how your brain is wired.
It is far more of a lifestyle choice than simply a job. If you want to solve the hardest problems your best hope is to have long stretches of peace and quiet where you can do nothing but devote yourself to the problem.
Also there is the long hours culture, the regular conferences without available childcare, the amount of collaborative work done in the pub, the way everything has moved on completely if you have a few years out, having to move anywhere in the world to get the next job...
None of that fits with family responsibilities. Some still manage to raise a family and make it as a mathematician but those are the exceptional ones who've made it through despite the handicap. Most women either don't go into it in the first place or else quit after their PhD's to settle down.
I agree. Sometimes bitterness is the only correct response to an unfair system. If people feel bitter enough to motivate themselves into fighting back and improving things that's healthy and good.
It certainly shouldn't get them patronised, labelled as 'ill', and fed little pills to make them dopey and happy enough to accept all the crap.
I bet it is in the airport's best interests actually. I hate waiting at airports because it's such a waste of time so I always arrive at the last possible minute.
But if there was wifi I'd be more inclined to arrive early, hang out, and spend lots of money on their overpriced food and coffee.

Use the wifi to log onto airport.adult-friend-finder.com to arrange a meeting behind one of the large objects.
Did you know that we always insert the swearword before a stressed syllable? (Stephen Pinker, "the Language Instinct").
Maybe it's illegal to watch you secretly, so that's why they've added the sign?
That's confusing. How do I decide what type of woman I am? Does it depend on the size of my yoni or is it caste thing?
It can answer "What is the answer to life the universe and everything / 6"
