It seems to me that evolutionists are accusing creations of the very thing they are doing themselves. For one, creation of the universe by any means (a creator or randomness) can not be observed as it has happened in the past. Science in its true definition requires observation. You might say evolution is observable, well, that's not true. What we see today is nature adapting to its environment. Very different from the circumstances the evolutionist's beliefs. I suggest that both Intelligent Design and Evolution are faith based theories and neither one should be taught as a fact or close to it. Just teach what we do know, present the facts, and leave the conclusion to philosophy and theology.
this is just like the futurama episode where Fry ate the "egg" sandwich which contained worms. the worms turned Fry in an intelligent, muscle man. very cool episode.
four posts! it is being drilled into my head that all my packets are going to have the evil bit. something tells me the evil Bert has something to do with this.
we need disposable keyboards. a week or so of use and then trashed. imagine the marketing potential: Sanitary Keyboard, helps reduce the spread of bacteria."
cool! when do we leave.
we can get there by 2010. stay a couple of months, have a beer or two. get back home by around 2020. that's if we could travel at the speed of light. guess will have to wait a few more years for this trip. will we be around?
the problem with marking mp3s is the same problem with licensing software -- only the rightful user will have problems. once i've shelled out some money for a product (legally obtained), i want it to work for me and not against me. why should i have to worry about encryption when i want to listen to a song. why should i have to think about a licensing/registration issue when i just want to use the program. only the pirates make good on these "purchases" while honest people get the shaft.
is fame really all that great? why does someone important need to be famous? isn't recognition for a job well done sufficient? anyway, if he was a household name, he'd need a security staff and i'm sure he isn't in the money like gates.
if the fbi does somehow get box at each isp, then i say why not just invite them in for coffee and tell them a few stories of how you embezzled ten million bucks from your place of employment and how many times you haven't paid your taxes. then you can tell them that Hover was straight. </rant>
"... Rob has returned to his old stomping grounds to sell his childhood home -- asking price: $2.5 million -- and to search for his long-lost high school girlfriend..."
when this generation of kids takes over in about 20 years or so, it seems that intellectual property laws will have changed. most young people today feel that it is okay to trade freely almost anything with anyone. people will still want to make money, so i'm sure they'll find a way to make a living.
if ads in mp3s become common place, then they can sell mp3s without commercials for more money just like cable tv premium channels. hey, it worked for them. bottom line, the producers want your money.

do they really think that this will deter people from trading mp3s? i guess it'll make some companies cover their ass better.

which mouse will win? we can put them all together in a room full of digital cheese and see which one survives the battle!!has anyone put together a distribution with security as the focus? ie, ssh instead of telnet, latest security fixes, configured secured firewall, etc.

it is better to be no one and conquer the world.

is this what CmdrTaco does in his spare time?
aren't Windows articles fixed? ziff-davis has a strong bias toward M$. and then again, don't we always have to consider the source!!!

in other words, our kids should be playing these games on the long trips to saturn.
why not have this feature for use with a palm pilot? then you could just "write" the text message.
of course, nothing beats the spoken word. so, when will slashdot take posts via audio files?
