    I was in St. Louis during the Olympics and hung out at a Irish dive bar (JP's) that was TOTALLY into the matches... mostly trying to figure out the rules.

    I use UMA on my T-Mobile BlackBerry all the time at my home. Also for another $10/month you can T-Mobile will give you unlimited calling on Wi-Fi.

    Countless times I've up-modded a comment from a foe because, while I might not agree with the statements, they were made in an intelligent and manner and added to the thread. Even ass-hats sometimes are insightful.

    We did have the 4 prong plug. IIRC the DataSet 300 used an RJ21 25 pair connector and came with a modified 5 line keyset.

    You must be young. I remember using acoustical modems back in 1974 and they weren't that new back then. The reason we used them was because it was illegal to connect to the copper on a POTS line back then and Ma Bell's solution was VERY expensive and very non-portable.

    Yeah, I think I used the MAX-232 chip back in the mid-80s. But I still love a good old 9-pin serial connector on my laptop.
