    Smart tags is a stupid idea anyway. Someone has to look at ALL the webpages on the web, and include tags to them. No wonder M$ wants to change its licensing scheme---the customer has to pay for this!

    How do they connect the building to the blimp? How do they keep the blimp stationary while placing the building on its destined site? And how do they diconnect the building? I can imagine the blimp will go up like a cork once the building is disconnected.

    I have a question, maybe you can help me. I still run Xfree86 3.3.6 (or so), and I'm quite happy with it. However, playing movies full screen doesn't work too well. Is X 4.x much faster, so I can really enjoy movies (avi/DivX mostly), or isn't there much difference with 3.3?

    Because /. is mentioned in the mainstream media more and more, I'm sure the number of wannane Linux users that read /. is growing fast. This article might help them. However, after reading it I got the feeling that if I were a newbie I would still not know what distro to use. My two cents: go for a distro that someone you know and like uses. Then it's easier for him/her to help you. And take a look at my `Linux for Newbies' text on my website.

    I installed Slackware 7.1 a couple of days ago, but Xfree 4.0 is not included in this distro. I also did not find any reference to Xfree 4.0 in info about SW 7.1 on the SW website. I hope Xfree 4.x is included in SW 7.2 when it comes out, though.

    I have cable and I usually get around 50kB/s (according to Lynx). Not bad.
