No. As a doctor you only have to know that some medication doesn't work anymore so you have to use something different or hope the patient gets better by him/herself.
What does Math have to do with programming? And about the mandatoring evolution: you can't do that. Those people are grown-ups, and a school is not a totalitarian regime. Besides, I don't see why they can't be good doctors without knowledge of evolution. It's not like people evolve a great deal in their (the doctors') lifetimes.
Indeed. From Wikipedia: "A 2005 survey published in Encyclopædia Britannica found that the non-religious made up about 11.9% of the world's population, and atheists about 2.3%. This figure did not include those who follow atheistic religions, such as some Buddhists." Here's the link.
It's not about the children dying. It's about them spreading diseases that, with great effort, were brought and are now under control. To keep them under control you have to keep vaccinating.
Am I the only one who thinks questions like this one don't belong here? Go to a consumer's website or a decent website about cameras and leave Slashdot for the News for Nerds and the Stuff that Matters.
Everybody used to be so in arms about letting kids watch too much TV, it'll rot their brains out.
What always strikes me as odd is that those discussions are never about what the kids watch on the TV. I just came up with the following interesting experiment: take a pair of twins, and feed one porn from birth on and the other one horror- and other very violent movies. See how they develop in life.
There is also Nokia's MeeGo-based linux phone, N9 which is really slick and has all the features you need, too. But support for that might be worse in the future, as Nokia is mostly going to do WP7 phones now.
I had a Nokia N900 but I bought an iPhone after a year or so. Although the N900 is still on par with the best smartphones out there hardware-wise, for me it was very annoying that there was hardly any new software coming out for it anymore. And I have a hole in my hand when it comes to smartphones. I bought a new one every year for the past 4 years.
You can always say no to a treatment, or even tell the hospital that you don't want a certain doctor to treat you.
But then again, as a doctor you will see so many sad and horrible things that in the end you will be convinced that there is no god.

What does evolution have to do with medics? I bet most doctors in the world know very little about evolution theory.
You are not a scientist.
Yes.
I suppose the best move by Google is now to remove the terrorist ban on YouTube, to restore consistency on its many platforms.

Yes. God doesn't protect you from sickness. Vaccination can.

Except when they're cremated after their death.
Need I say more?
Identical twins are clones! :)
Then you may have had one of the earlier ones because I had no problems with it.

Too bad many people don't have common sense.

That turd sandwitch only sold because it came pre-installed with new computers. Or were there really people who went out and bought it in a box?
Companies dont charge what they need to to make a profit anymore
Anymore? Must be a looooong time ago that they did that, then.
WTF?? Go and insult your mother you snotty kid.
Unfortunately EU law doesn't seem to actually mean very much.
True. If everybody had stuck to EU law we wouldn't be in this financial mess.
The EU have made the the right to use the internet a law in 2009.
And they will get that accepted and signed as well.
