This has nothing to do with the PVV or protectionism, it's just plain economics. Our government pays the projects of Ph.D. students. If the student returns to her home country directly after getting her Ph.D. you have a negative return of investment. That is annoying since there is quite a lot of money involved. Philips hiring foreigners to do jobs is a whole different matter, as you say.

These are the type of comments that I was blissfully unaware of when the old comments system was still in place and you could really filter everything that scored lower than 1 out. In the new system, that is not possible anymore. I keep seeing posts scoring 0 since the new system is in place. Or is there a trick that I don't know of to get rid of these posts?

I don't know how it is in America, but here in the Netherlands a lot of Chinese and Indian people come here to get their Ph.D. They write their thesis and a few articles, get their Ph.D., and go back to where they came from, taking all the experience that you need for performing their specific 'trick' with them. One Ph.D. costs on average around 400.000 euros. I think when these people leave for their home country we should at least make them pay part of that money back. If they can't they have to stay here and we can pluck the fruits of our investment.

Yea man, I think it's great! I can fuck like my rabbits now without having an operation like my rabbits had. Oh, but my rabbits are actually a bad example because I only see my female rabbit hump the male every once in a while. On the head. And he likes it. She's bigger than him but he can lift her up with his head no problem if he wants to. I would like to meet a woman who can do that to me!

It depends on the contract you have with the provider. If I were a hotel or restaurant and I would want to offer WiFi services I would outsource all of it to a provider. I pay a monthly fee and let them install the hardware and make sure everything works, so that I can concentrate on my core business. Then if something happens to the WiFi it's the provider's problem, not mine. If Opta doesn't agree with that we take it to court.

I read this yesterday on nu.nl and I think it's completely ridiculous. The hotels (and my hospital I found out yesterday, and McDonalds and many many other places) can offer WiFi because they have a deal with a provider. Isn't that enough? I thought the Opta was there for the consumer but now I am not so sure anymore.
