It's a bit more complicated because bees don't only die in America but also in Europe and maybe other places. I don't think bee colonies are moved over the Atlantic, are they? If not, the virus and fungus are probably transferred via people.
I ran Linux for 10 years or so before switching to the Mac, and I've never looked back. Even with user-friendly distros like Ubuntu back then there were just too many little things that are very simple on a commercial system that took a lot of fiddling on Linux, and I had enough of it. But when Apple decides to start an app store for the Mac I will be back to Linux in just about a millisecond or so. Apple is getting more and more on my nerves with their stranglehold practices. The Mac has been in relatively quiet waters until now, but I'm afraid that with the next radically new versions that will change.
I dunno. I can buy a desktop computer with no OS without problems, but try to get a laptop without an OS. Impossible! I think Ubuntu is allowed to complain about that.
I never used xmarks' server so I don't really see the need for paying for their service. I would pay for their software though. It's very handy and has been working flawlessly for me for quite some years now.
I live in Europe. The US phone market is irrelevant to me. To Nokia too I guess, because it's such a small market. Only 300 million people against 550 million or so in Europe, and 2 billion or so in Asia and Africa.
I guess this doesn't sound like good news for MeeGo. But maybe I'm too harsh. If Nokia really wants to be a big player in the smartphone market they will have to continue with MeeGo.
I can't believe that filesharing is given such a high priority by governments in Europe. The entertainment industry must have a VERY strong lobbying organization to pull that off. It's a pity that rape victims and other sufferers from really bad crimes are not as well organized and don't have such deep pockets as the entertainment industry.
What happened then?
That's why I often take the train for long distances. Train isn't always handy, though.

Yeah man, the last 15 years have been a blast! Every year it was 'Linux on the desktop' year. Oh! The excitement!

Yep, thank you RMS! You made the world a better place.

Because those tapes are recorded in an analog format instead of digital, which makes recovery impossible.
Woosh.
That's where you're wrong. All kinds of kids go to public schools, so they also have to give good education.
No.
The same holds for the "microsoft" tag, of course.
Why the hell is this story tagged "Apple?" Because the word "iPad" is in the summary? Come on Apple fanbois, this is low, even for you.
I have an N900. I like it a lot. It's not tied to anything, like the iPhone, and to a much lesser extend Android and Windows are.

Does this mean that RMS can finally use a cellphone?
Yeah, after I took that blue pill she surely was impressed!
Those symptoms perfectly match with the illness that is called 'being in love.'
I haven't used those in twenty years.
/me panicks.
Pfew, thanks! :)
