    The Dean campaign used their money to pay bloggers. The bloggers fully disclosed the payment.

    The Bush administration used your money (assuming you're a USian) to pay off Armstrong Williams. Williams didn't disclose a thing.

    This whole tempest in a teapot is an attempt by the right to blur the issue by creating some kind of he-said/she-said equivalency.

    Don't fall for it.

    Within a decade, its inventors believe, it will be leading the unwanted pests out of dark kitchen corners, to where they can be eliminated.

    Roaches have been evolving for millions of years to avoid predation. This is just another johnny-come-lately predator for the humble roach. Give the roaches a few hundred generations and they'll adapt to it.

    And the next one we build.

    And so on.

    Doesn't change the coolness factor one bit though.

    Also what would the monetary cost of doing this be?

    I'm guessing that it's going to cost less than the price of the war in Iraq. 87 Billion and counting would supply plenty of turbines and lots of dandy infrastructure to move the energy around.

    And it would have the added benefit of killing significantly fewer people.
