MY ox? No I bloody wouldn't be cheering them on, and you have no reason to believe I would. So now we're going from hypocrisy to outright dishonesty. I doubt it's even what the majority of slashdot thinks, but that doesn't matter.
So what? Doesn't change the hypocrisy that a good deal of libertarians only pay lip service to freedom with the ulterior motive of getting the government out of the way so that they themselves can infringe on others liberties and rights. Some line on a stupid website doesn't change that fact.
In the US, we don't hold the position that just because you are a criminal means you should be killed. In fact, the bill of rights has this peculiar amendment addressing that punishment should not be in excess of the crime committed. It's dictatorships and very anti-freedom hellholes that take the opposite stance.
tl;dr: We put humans life (politician, criminal, or not) on a pedestal. That's part of being a civilized Republic.
Uhh, is it me or do folks really not know how to read basic charts? Yes, the temperature changes due to cycling glacial periods are real. They are also spread out across vast chunks of time; the rate of these cyclic background climate changes are very, very, very slow.
And grown locally too, without injected hormones. Did you know that most artificial steroids used on digital content leads to premature bit rot? Digithol Rightose Managemone being one of the worst of the bunch.
But . . . C++ isn't webscale!
As fuggin verbose as java can be, not requiring line numbers is the least it can do. :P
Think stolen twitter handles.
Hah, took me a minute to get it. :P
"Multiplier" is meaningless without some kind of context (no pun intended).
$20 grand and an escape helicopter.
Wouldn't that be . 4 2? :P
Pretty sure tin foil hats would block incoming/outgoing signals.
Kinda hard with all this top-notch competition.

I'm just waiting for when Canonical announces their own kernel.
Yes, good ol' Libertarian "The government shouldn't violate my right to violate others rights!"

You're off to meet your maker?
Not near the smart asses.
Sounds like somebody has an axe to grind
What the next generation actually needs, is to learn to question authority
Apparently somebody's never met a teenager before. :P
Uh, no. The reason we don't send people to other celestial bodies is primarily due to cost and safety.

Did I hit a nerve? I think I hit a nerve.
D is probably closer to C++ than C.
Honestly, I'd be happy with just a C variant with built-in string support.
strei . . . you know what, screw it. Let them shoot themselves in the foot.
