      All it needs are trillions of dollars of start-up capital and the willingness on the part of the country to rip up the existing fossil fuel infrastructure.

    I'd say variation of one of three camps.

    a.) "I vote according to party lines and Assange's head should be a pike."
    b.) "I vote for the speaker who appeals to my needs without stepping on too many heads, I probably question some of Assange's ethics, though I can see the overall necessity. I probably think he is also a bit of a dick."
    c.) "I'm completely disillusioned by the idea of government. Nuke 'em from orbit, it's the only way to be sure."

    Come to Canada. I can't remember ever seeing a vending machine accept bills. All of ours take coins, up to and including the $1 coin and the $2 coin.

    I took that to mean that if you asked a question the answer would be "No." Followed by "MSG"

    Eg. "Do you use healthy preservatives in your food?" "No. MSG"

    Quick question, how are the people who elected your government supposed to make an informed decision come election time if they don't have the information about what their government is doing/supporting? You claim the government was "duly elected by American citizens" which is obviously true, however I would make the argument that without this kind of information being made available to the public the American citizens don't truely know the people/party they are voting for.
