They had seperate subsystems in NT for different things they felt like supporting. and they weren't as compatible. Mac solution: perfectly compatible, as far as I know. Maybe a little slower to boot up, and certainly a ram hog.. but eventually you won't need it any more, and then.. well, it won't be there. instead of maintaining compatibility loaded all the time and booting it up and everything like current MS operating systems.

Yea.. Microsoft software, I'm sure it's going to be optimized for mac REAALL well. Oh wait, NO. dumbass, at least choose a good comparison. of course microsoft isn't going to try and support it beyond a thing to point to the DOJ and say 'we support other systems!'. That's off the top of my head. I think it also has Macross 7 .rm's.) Anyway, Dragon Ball Z from CN, Ronin Warriors from CN, Some of robotech (CN), Saber Marionette J(fansubbed), Bubble Gum Crisis 2040 (AnimEigo subbed), Nadesico (subbed somehow, forgot.), Oh! My Goddess, Gundam Wing (CN).. I think that's it. Will watch Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, and Tenchi Muyo soon (Actually, I saw one of the movies on sci-fi before.. looked pretty good)

Of those, I really recommend Saber Marionette I don't know of the other series (anything beyond J), but I really liked that series.. Essentially there's a spaceship, it has problems, escape pod ejects, crashes onto a planet, and only 6 males survive. Through cloning, they build a world (with 6 countries, each of the original survivors create a country similar to a nation from our current world). They have emotionless robots in the form of females called Marionettes.. But some were developed with emotion chips (maiden circuits, whatever you want to call them), that let them act like real females would. Great series.

I also liked Oh! My Goddess, and Bubble Gum Crisis 2040.
Personally, I couldn't tolerate Robotech or Macross 7, from the handful of episodes I watched of both. (Originally I didn't realize they were related, it had been over a year since I had seen Robotech, took me a while to recognize why it seemed so familiar, and a bunch of alusions to it.)

Gundam Wing was quite good, and the dubs actually weren't bad. I haven't seen the subs, but I enjoyed that one.

The others, I was kinda neutral on. Something to watch but nothing really exciting. I just watched Nadesico, but can barely even remember what happened in it.. it's something to do, and some of the characters were interesting to watch, but.. *shrug*

These are just my opinions, but I'd recommend those.. I can't believe up until now, I haven't seen Saber Marionette mentioned once. You people should be ashamed :)

Supplying 84% of the industry with CPU's is quite a bit more difficult than supplying 10% of the industry. The shortages will be more noticeable and more people will complain.

They are NOT the same thing. AMD expected to need x number of processors (whatever x is) this quarter. AMD already has orders claimed on all of those. Intel expected to need z number of processors (whatever z is). Intel can't make them. AMD has orders on all that it expected to sell, and is continuing to pump them out. 4.77 MHz 8088 was the 8 MHz model, nearly a 50% increase. The 486 went from 25-33-50-66-100, all at least 33% increases. All of these increases absolutely dwarf the 800-1000 MHz increase. So why do you keep harping on it? Too little technical knowledge to poke holes in the Intel plan?

heheh intel plan :) but anyway, last time I checked, 4.77 -> 8 was nearly a 100% increase. The percent increase doesn't matter though. Take something that can do 10 multiplications per second. Video cards and sound cards are proprietary as hell, and have gotten worse and worse with windows 9x around. Gone are the times for legacy support, everyone who matters runs windows, didn't you know that? Why would you want to play DOS games anyway?! You don't like these new 3D games that are all graphics?
