    I wired my house some years ago with Cat5 cable. If I wish to create a 1GB/10GB home network, then obviously I need to replace my switches, but do I also need to pull all the cables and put some new ones in, or will my existing cable do the job (perhaps with a few packet errors)?

    The ISS has an atmosphere inside, so heat convection shouldn't be a problem. If necessary, put it in a box with air driven through it to give circulation.

    You should thank God (in whatever form you worship his Noodly Appendages) that people do buy high end devices such as graphics cards. These spendthrifts create the market and provide the initial downward push on prices so that the rest of us can afford them.

    I still remember paying £2500 ($4000) for a 486DX-33 with 8MB of RAM and a 200Mb hard drive. Those were the days.....

    I think you are missing Salems Lot, which is a fairly good interpretation of the Stephen King book.

    I'd also go for The Lost Boys, lightweight but with a good 80s soundtrack

    Smallpox would still be around if they didn't work, and other diseases would be much more common.

    First I don't think anyone disputes that Nintendo have copyright on their games and the artwork in those games. However game play videos can be argued to be Fair Use on the grounds that they are transformative.

    Also USC title states that use of works for comment/review is not a breach of copyright either, and this could be argued to be one of those cases.

    I think on those grounds a reasonable case could be made to tell Youtube to return the Advertising revenue to the video makers.

    The court explicitly ruled that they were ruling specifically in this one case because the farmer was deliberately gaming the system by killing non roundup ready seeds before he planted. If you read their ruling they state that it should be interpreted very narrowly. They are likely to rule the other way if accidental planting was the issue

    The Cybersecurity issue is highly vexing. The Conservatives in Opposition were the "good guys" against attempted extension of those powers by the (then) Labour Government. Now they've been corrupted since they came to power and have succumbed to the Dark Side.....

    Charles was a serving navy officer and as such tend to collect medals for military service. Whilst Charles never got in a war, he was in the navy and was captain of a minesweeper at one stage.     It's worth pointing out that his brother Andrew, as a helicopter pilot in the Falklands was at risk in the line of fire; so whilst some concessions are made for their importance, those concessions do not extend to avoiding all risk of harm

    Other insignia are various titles, long service awards etc. He's technically a four star general in each of the Armed Services, just as technically the Queen is Commander In Chief.

    US Military is no different - they're equally prone to giving themselves awards for saluting smartly, getting a small scratch on a fencepost etc etc.

    The Speech sets out what the Government wants to happen, whether it will happen is dependent on the votes/ legislative review in Parliament.
