    Well, if you really want want all these should've...could've...would've(s), then you and your neighbors should vote for politicians that will handle the issue properly. If if you're going to cry about how the "system" is rigged against you, save your breath. I'll have none of it. You all are just cursing darkness instead of lighting a candle. There is no law on the books that require you to vote for spoon fed by mass media candidates.. yet.

    Well, considering how many times we reelect these goofs, it seems to be more of a matter of how we present ourselves. It's not "dumbing down". It's marketing, and rather successful at that.

    Gotta love Microsoft. They can't control themselves, so they need to control the users to cover up. It's like saying a 55mph speed limit is the solution for cars that blow up at 60.

    Really, what's your beef? This is precisely what the system was designed to do.. to keep the small fry independents from muscling in on the big boys' territory. I must say, it's working marvelously. Patent trolls are part of the show. Don't blame them for exploiting a corrupt system. You don't get rich without stepping on some peoples' toes. It's the nature of the beast.

    That already happens now. Been that way for years. People without a traceable history, for example a credit history, or a small stack of credit cards, a job, etc., receive all sorts of "special" treatment at the border, made even worse in today's hysterical times. Yes, not having a file makes you very suspicious indeed. Upon its discovery, one will be created automatically for you. Those without facebook accounts clearly have something to hide.     Do you expect people to get upset over this? What, are they expecting it to just keep on going? My copy never got out of the virtual box. It's just there to figure out how to learn WTF. Come March.. or February, or whenever, whoopee! 25gb freed up.. for the hacked copy.. just kidding. No name, home made boxes with XP are a booming business right now. 7 is still a giant kludge. It's like Microsoft wants people to switch. Seems to be working.. Lots more Macs in my neighborhood.

    Inquisitive minds are a danger to authority. Best to shut it down as early as possible. No need to seek out anything. It will be provided to you on a need to know basis. Curiosity should be confronted with great suspicion. If somebody asks a question, the only proper answer is, "Why do you want to know?".

    Of course, just like money, if you create more, its value decreases. I don't know if there's an inflation index for consumer rage. But since it's easily managed and distracted by cheap entertainment, it doesn't really matter.
