Or the authority that issues patents/copyrights will license it out for you.. at what it determines to be a "fair" market price. Sounds fair. And if prop 8 proved anything, you don't have to be from the state whose laws you want to influence. Or.. the EFF could set up a branch office to have a more direct effect.
If he refuses to comply, he will land in jail. There's nothing "civil" about it. It's just a convenient legal pretext to violate one's rights. There's also the clear violation of free speech rights also. Since when should we allow "civil" law to trump those rights?
I am curious what you think the federal government's purpose IS if it isn't to take on national scale projects.
