Please remember that the 2.5.x series, like the 2.4.x series before it, is a development series and is NOT meant to be deployed in a stable environment. You are to expect bugs and problems with the 2.5.x series (much as you experienced with 2.4.x series) and generally it is not recommended that you install it UNLESS you can program and debug kernel stuff, and are installing it on a machine that no one depends upon.
You may want to just stick with a real OS like Windows 2000/XP or a commercial UNIX and wait until people finally realize that linux is a toy OS. At that point, you will no longer feel the need to be the nerd version of "cool" by installing linux on your machines.

Please remember that the 2.5.x series, like the 2.4.x series before it, is a development series and is NOT meant to be deployed in a stable environment. You are to expect bugs and problems with the 2.5.x series (much as you experienced with 2.4.x series) and generally it is not recommended that you install it UNLESS you can program and debug kernel stuff, and are installing it on a machine that no one depends upon.
You may want to just stick with a real OS like Windows 2000/XP or a commercial UNIX and wait until people finally realize that linux is a toy OS. At that point, you will no longer feel the need to be the nerd version of "cool" by installing linux on your machines.
