I like CDDB as much as the next geek, but I think it's a little too limited, for example when it comes to samplers. Are there any other, free alternatives to CDDB that offer more flexibility, like a different artist for each track ?
Maybe even something using XML, so it's buzzword-compliant *g*
OK, so someone predicted the end of the PC. But I don't see my box going away anytime soon. I actually like those big, clunky things. I don't think tinkering with these new wireless thingies is as much fun as resurrecting an old 486. *g*
Disclaimer: Dont't expect too much sense, I haven't had enough coffee yet
I recently checked out a few proxy servers for Linux, and stumbled onto a project called Muffin. It's a proxy written in Java, and also extensible in Java, but with some neat default modules already installed, like an Animated Gif Killer, a Decafeinater (no mo Java(Script)?) So us Linux geeks also have something like that.:)
Maybe now ReiserFS will get ported to other architectures, so my little multia MP3 server won't take forever fscking the 20G data partition :-)

...but I would prefer having smarter users. Ones that have heard of the concept of "local mirrors", for example.
After seeing this, I have to agree with you *g*

Strange, my wterm (wterm-6.2.3) barfs when I use the -tint command line. Do I have the wrong version or is that a compile-time option ?
