With the new secret trials for terrorists and the ability to hold people for indefinite amounts of time you have to wonder what is next. Secret trials scares the crap out of me. Who is accountable here when they won't tell anyone what they are doing? This stuff has to end right now, no more blank check legislation from the September attack.
Just think of how quickly the development of KOffice or other open source office suites would progress if this $1.2M/year was put towards them instead of MS. Everyone, not just MS would stand to gain from this.

Isn't this just a motion that was filed? It still remains to be seen whether the case will be dismissed by the court. We can only hope it won't be....
