  1. Windows 8 is no option at all! on Microsoft's Ticking Time Bomb Is Windows XP · · Score: 1

Microsoft have snookered us! We do not want to upgrade to Windows 8. So we have to migrate to another OS entirely. There is no way that the annoyingness of Windows 8 is outweighed by the annoyingness of learning a new OS. PLEASE MICROSOFT MAKE WINDOWS 9 NOW AND MAKE IT JUST LIKE WINDOWS 7 BUT A BIT BETTER NOT COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!!

  2. Microsoft Windows 8 is the cause on PC Plus Packs Windows and Android Into Same Machine · · Score: 1

Microsoft Windows 8 is a piece of crap. There is no other word to use. Windows 7 was awesome - and so Microsoft ditched it! It is the same with Youtube. Youtube was very good, and then Google came along with its stupid Google+ that hardly anybody wants and even fewer understand, and they completely buggered it up. The reasons people are turning to Android are: 1. Apple is too expensive. 2. Windows 8 is a piece of crap. 3. Windows 7 is no longer installed on new machines. 4. Linux is still not easy enough to use for most people.

  8. Poor design on Ask Slashdot: Why Do Mobile Versions of Websites Suck? · · Score: 1

Google videos hides the duration filter option on the mobile version, so it is a struggle to get videos longer than a soundbite. But that is the agenda, to create a culture of people who can only pay attention to something for a couple of minutes. Let's not even go into the catastrophe that the main youtube website has become since google took over - let alone the ridiculous mobile version. Almost useless and definitely too annoying to use seriously. The reason is because there is a culture of "hiding" options from users. The current generation of software designers believe that "less is more". They are mainly vacuous minded morons themselves, who cannot pay attention to anything for more than a minute or two. They are the kind of people who like the "Windows 8 Tile Screen". Unfortunately for the rest of us it means that completing common tasks has become a 10 click process.
