You guys are short-sighted. What this really means is this:- There are so many people in the world yearning for love. The world is love deprived. They are being exploited by the virus writers. Go loving around!
read the post clearly. That guy wants to be on world tour for six months unlike tour to disney world. I cannot definetely go on for six months without some form of assured access without depending upon local area (who knows where you'll endup!)
The IT industry annoyingly immature. One time there will be a heavy demand for people with particular skills and the bozos think if you work in one technology you cannot do the other. And the y wine that they cannot find enough people. There is fundamentally something wrong in the way they recruit. I was a victim of that approach. I had lot of C++ and CORBA on Solaris but one space age company put me on hold permanently telling that right now they need only JAVA people inspite of me kicking butt in their OO design interview and C++ interview. If I were to recruit for my company I look for people with lots of potential than anything else.
I know there exists a Linux HOWTO on building beowulf. But what would you say to someone who is a hobbiyst wanting to build his own beowulf cluster?

I would look seriously into BeOS if I can use all those GNU stuff.
