  1. Re:It's like this. on Does Grammar Matter Anymore? · · Score: 1

Chaucer would not have dreamed of it, and I doubt that either Spenser or Shakespeare would have been to sure which way was "correct"

In a thread about grammar, you should really be careful to use the proper form of to, two, or too.

So except for measuring all the particles' properties, which especially in case of the self-coupling will take many years, we will have to find an answer to the hierarchy problem.

Self-coupling should take 15 minutes, tops. You must be doing something wrong.

Will that ever work? Doubtful. Is it becoming more likely in the US? Hell no. But it is more complicated than "I want politicians who think like me," and it's disingenuous to paint this that way. We would be much better off if we didn't have the witch hunts, security theater, censorship, racism, and all other unfortunate little problems caused by people thinking with their crotch and not their head.

It's not that I want politicians to think like me. I just want them to think.

I think that would be a workable solution, especially if you put solar panels on everyone's food so they could use a portion of it when it is generated, generate hydrogen for heating, then put the excess on the grid for storage by a smallish (50MW or so) local combined cycle facility.

Isn't that just a tad extreme. We're just trying to enjoy a meal here.

Small off-the-shelf quadropters depend on electric motors to control the speed of the rotors, so it's not trivial to drive the rotors directly off an infernal combustion engine.
