  1. I couldn't help but think on Mark Cuban's Plan To Kill Google · · Score: 0

that some form Microsoft is telling Mark Cuban to "totally fucking kill" Google. Maybe Mark Cuban is chair averse...

  2. How about "G"? on Google Under Fire For Calling Their Language "Go" · · Score: 0

You know, the hipsters language. Only the cool kids code in G , yo! Dawg, your routines are so tight! Yo, I'm getting debuggy with it! (sorry, I couldn't help myself)

  3. It says NEWS in the title on Your Opinion Counts At CNN — But Should It? · · Score: 0

Ironing... er irony aside, The news should be just that.... news. If you want to have a 30 minute opinion show that uses twitter, I don't have a problem with that. The problem is that reporters are not trying to find out new information, just giving me any thing but the shallowest facts. Instead of expert analysis, they fill the airwaves from reactions from people who don't have any direct connection to the event at hand. Big events do touch more than the direct participants, but the news channel is not the forum (at least not 24 hours a day).

  4. Uh-oh on Volcanic Activity May Split Africa In Two · · Score: 0

Looks like the sequel to 2012 hyas just written itself. If it splits Nigeria in two, does that mean we will have twice as much royalty asking for money?

  5. It works because people are lazy on For September, Book-Related Apps Overtook Games On iPhone · · Score: 1, Insightful

If games are your only way to pass the time, then that is what people will do. I don't think people are "smarter" because book apps are available, they just have a new choice to do something while waiting at the doctor's office. If porn was available, I am sure you could replace "ebook" with "elook" and have the same article.

  6. Cops have computers in their cars on No Hand-Held Devices In Ontario Cars · · Score: 0

I don't know about Canada, but in the US, there are computers, hand held radios, and cameras in their cars. It's a driving hand-held electronics boutique in the car. If the cops can break the law with training, then offer the same training to the citizenry. On a side note, it is claimed that GM with have a totally autonomous driving car by 2020, so these laws may be short lived....

  7. You know you're tired... on Hulu May Begin Charging For Content Next Year · · Score: 0

when you read that Chevy Chase is COO of Fox News!

  8. Create a Framework Like Zembly on MySpace Trying To Regain Lost Ground With Games and Music · · Score: 1, Insightful

I use Zembly to create apps on Facebook. If they join Zembly, or make a framework that is easy for developers I give it a go. I haven't been to MySpace in months.

  9. It Just A Matter of Time on Game Development On Android · · Score: 0

Unlike the Mac/Window comparison, Android's market is not purposefully small. Android is currently T-Mo, but will be on other telcos soon. Android is looking to be used in the Netbook space too. While the market share is smaller, Google is actively pushing it grow, and Apple is beginning to look like Microsoft in this area. Given that most games were written in Java before the iPhone, and I bet the port from MIDP to Android SDK is not a big one, I think you will see real competition in the game market. Does this mean we will be seeing the "I'm an Android/ I'm an iPhone" commercials now?

  10. Finally, not a problem for the little guy! on Artist Not Allowed To Stream His Own Music · · Score: 0

My band (The Stone Bunnies, if you care) has their original stuff on both MySpace and Facebook. While I don't expect it to get us a label, it is good to a site to show to fans and bar owners. It gives us people who are doing it for fun a place to demonstrate our creativity. The system has long been set up that studio music is the "calling card" for the artist, and any real money is made in live performance. Since he has a label, why doesn't he just create his own site and link it on MySpace or Facebook?

  11. My Flying Car on Executive Order Bars Federal Workers From Texting and Driving · · Score: -1, Offtopic

Seriously, If I had my automated flying car, i would have to be distracted with driving.. er ... flying!
