Comparing just the 2008 mintage doesn't tell the whole story. You need to compare mintage figures over the last 30 years or so, weighting for probability of coins being taken out of circulation, etc.
In fact, there were 0 $1 coins minted from 1982 to 1998 - but something like 20 billion quarters.
Of course, the fact that Americans don't like coins is a big contributor. They also don't like $2 bills, which is why you hardly ever see them outside of a collection, even though they were printed heavily in the late 70s.
In case anybody thinks the OP invented this, it's totally true, and completely stupid. A friend was allowed to fly with his 9mm pistol (concealed on his person!!!) but had his toe-nail clippers confiscated.
Does it maybe mean more register windows?
Because that would certainly help things like Java, and presumably oracle.
Anybody know how often a large query spills registers?
What you describe is incredibly uncommon IME outside of redmond-derived code bases.
Just wait until next week when a mascara satellite knocks out the GPS network!

That's nothing -- I heard this one goes up to 11!
They have to burn it. There is a picture inside of David Koresh.

Are you aware that Americans don't generally use coins worth more than 0.25 dollars? Very few coins worth more than a quarter dollar are even minted.
I don't think they can. If the trial has begun, jeopardy has attached. Dropping and re-filing would constitute double jeopardy.
Have you watched Saturday Night Live in the last ten years?
It is very rare for multiple jesters to be as effective in a group setting than a talented hack working alone.
Finally, a real example people can point to and say, "SEE!" when talking about net neutrality.
I'm rooting for Steve Ballmer.
I think his answer would be "rufies"

If he really has the techie gene, he will seriously best his sister's crappy pen-and-paper Spirograph!
..and I, for one, welcome our new oxygen-breathing overlords!
DJ stands for "disc jockey"
Sounds like "person who changes the tracks" might jockey some discs around.
It is possible to use SMS with the phone in silent mode.
It is not possible to make a phone call with the human in silent mode.

Maybe they were trying to not make any noise.. So as, to you know, not get shot.
You're right! It's been photoshopped! Just like that sword in xkcd!
Get with the times, will you? Nobody makes a machine that can look under the skin that is safe for repeated daily high-intensity use.
No machine means no money. This isn't about security, you know.

Security theatre, indeed!
Sounds like want an iPad.
If that's too big, you can put it in the dryer. It comes out looking just like the iPhone 4.

So, what kind of training did you do in your basement for a ... solo mission?
