  1. excuse on Peekabooty, Camera/Shy Released · · Score: 1

Oh great, now there is actually a proper excuse to post such nonsense as: "go to blablalbla.com to check out some goatsex pictures..... But wait, there is a hidden message in them, honest!"

  2. well..... on Microsoft Freon · · Score: 1

At least it isn't called Prion, which would be the cause of mad cow disease, instead of Freon! Just think of the connotations..... The main software for it could be full of holes, just like a mad cow's brain.

  3. novell on All Sourceforge.net Being Blocked by SmartFilter · · Score: 1

When I was in Highschool, I hated the Novell censor software. My Highschool's Cisco teacher was the school's computer admin, and he was going insane trying to changing the list that Novell uses to block 'improper' sites out with. Students that were doing reports in the library and tried browsing to appropriate sites could never make it to the research site because of Novell. He would get about 23492234 requests to unblock websites from the Novell system a day.

Of course those figures can't really account for people who choose to build their own systems.

  6. gamecube vs X-Box on Nintendo Announces Gamecube Launch Numbers · · Score: 1

Everyone seems content on saying that the X-Box is much faster than the Gamecube, however you must remember that the Gamecube's processor is based on PowerPC technology. PowerPC chips tend to perform better than Intel chips, even when they are clocked considerably lower.

I am new here to slashdot, and what is with every topic having someone posting about hot grits and such?
