And for typing this, you are now on a list of "right wing terrorists" that is more concerning to the govt than Islamic terrorists.
By posting under AC, you are aware of how treasonous you have become.
But fear not, fellow slashdotters. This terrorist will be monitored as the cybersecurity bill will allow govt to view the Dice server contents and determine the real identity behind this terrorism post.
Yes, if you do what is in the OP, you are breaking the law. You need a FCC license (HAM probably) to transmit as the article states. Anything over 10mw, unless it has a FCC Part 15 exemption.
I made a post about it on ar15.com and was told that if they are flying below 500ft, that is an FAA issue. Further a pilot chimed in and said that since the topography of the farm was above surrounding areas, it was likely they were using their altimeter to stay at +500 feet and some terrain below them would rise up at some points during their flight. The pilot thought the FAA wouldn't think much of it.
Cows getting spooked is hard to put a $ amount to. Although I suspect loss in milk production (it doesn't take much, doing chores 1 hour late upsets the herd).
Seems like most people are ok with Govt surveilling (NSA), corporations (Google Earth), aircraft, but don't want their fellow citizens neighbors with drones doing the same thing.
DEA helicopter nightly fly 300 or so feet above my fathers dairy farm nightly. So low that things rattle in his house and it scares the cattle.
You don't own 1 inch above your land.
Someone can be on your land without permission in most states, unless you have your land posted. Then you have to ask them to leave, if they do not, you can make a complaint to the police. IIRC case law says its not trespassing unless its walled in on 4 sides or a building.
Bicycles need regulating more than drones. More than 800 people were killed in 1 year, more than twice the number that have died in mass shootings since the year 2000
Sanders is the epitome of the Democrats. Socialism is what the Democrat party core is supposed to be. He is overtly socialist, something the Democrats have never been proud about.
Trump is mostly neo-conservative. But the libertarnian leaning part of the Republican party will probably back him as they realize a fractured Republican party will allow a Bernie or Hillary to become president.
The goal is to shove this down the throats of all gun owners

Honest question here, is it 3/25 are for the hobbyist and 22/25 are for the govt/corporations?
He didn't take anything, the original data is still there. If he'd taken it, it wouldn't be there anymore. He copied data.
There's no way science knows about all the different moths that arrive. There will be maybe 10,000 moths and none of them look the same.
How so?

Hester vs US, look up "open field"
You own land, not airspace. I would even argue that (in my state) since you pay property taxes, you lease your land, but that's another discussion.

No, you're a fool if you thought he would reign in the NSA. Obama ran on big govt authoritarianism, and he's doing exactly what he said he would do.
and isn't double digit millions and development costs nothing to a big OEM like GM or Toyota?
